Apparently we're willing to pay a fair chunk too, which is understandable since it was overs from the very beginning

I kinda like Mann at 6.... and considering Reynolds' age, suspension and injury history - he is a fair risk even at half of what he is on. No club should be paying anything more than says 250k for him at this stage in his career.

I reckon you'd probably get him for around 400k and the Tigers paying the rest. He'd be a better back up than Lino.

I think the point is he gets to play NRL so to be back up at another club wouldn't fit the bill

Re: 2019 NIB Knights
he prob would be a better backup but he wouldnt want to play that role for sure..I kinda like the little chinaman as the 3rd stringer, hes a quality goal kicker too.Honeysett wrote:I reckon you'd probably get him for around 400k and the Tigers paying the rest. He'd be a better back up than Lino.
I see Mann as our long term 6 with watson as our long term 14 or hooker.

Re: 2019 NIB Knights
Was at the game, was an absolute shocker in the second half. They gave up with 20 to go.
Ramien dropping the pill in the first half changed the game, we were getting on top at that point. Then watson drops it over the line shortly after.
Levi's running game is non-existent, has totally disappeared since his injury. Jamie buhrer still getting a run... I mean fuck.. he lost us that game last weekend and got targeted so heavily when he was on this week - its shocking. I dont understand why he keeps getting a start. The bloke cant move sideways any more and has no impact in attack. How is he getting a start but Guerra isnt??
At the rate we are going, we arent going to make the finals and I think we have a fairly tough run home. I hate to say it but origin really fucked us around Lol

We're letting Jesse Ramien go. He's probably cracked it at being dropped. If that's the case and that's his attitude then glad he's going.

yeah fair enough hey...
He is unreal at his best but has been absolutely shithouse this year for us. Dropping the ball clean, has at least 3 or 4 mistakes in him each game. Would have hoped that he knuckled down to get back in the side but if he has cracked it then yeah good riddance. Enjoy earning big money and losing every week at the titans for the next 4 years. its a shame we let Naden go, he has been awesome in patches for the panthers. Our centre options are pretty thin now.
Would be nice to use his money to sign a decent 6.

That's the runour and reason doing the rounds "falling out with coach"

I remember early in the season he was unhappy with the amount of ball he was getting and wanted out. Far out, I mean, hes a 22-year-old centre - go looking for it. Go run from dummy half 15 times a game like hodges and gasnier use to. Sounds like he has cracked it at the coach about being dropped and the coach has told him to fuck off.
Can see a side like the Titans or Dogs picking him up on a big contract

To be fair, looking at his fantasy stats he probably had his best game of the season last week. So to be dropped this week

He also cost us a try. He hasn't been good. I haven't seen the hype around him even when he was with the Sharks, I thought maybe there was something else I wasn't seeing because legends were pumping up his tyres but so far he's amounted to nothing.
Upset that a potential great signing is leaving but based off his form I'm also glad he's gone. Let's go after a 6 now.

Re: 2019 NIB Knights
I've never understood the Ramein hype. And not sure why any club would offer big dollars if he has a sook and bolts just for being dropped. What sort of coin was he getting at Newie, surely he wasnt on more than a few hundred thou??

Re: 2019 NIB Knights
He dropped a sitter against the roosters as well at a crucial time. His head just isnt in it. Looks overweight to me too.
He is an extremely powerful ball runner and at the sharks he was just about unstoppable close to the try line. At newie he barely busts the line, wrestles someone standing up then he drops the ball at least 2/3 times a game.
Absolutely need to chase a good 6, not that there are many of them around. I wouldnt even hate us having maloney for a year or 2

Thoughts on picking up Sezer as our 6? He's been awesome over the last 5-6 weeks at the Raiders - and has been granted a release.

Yeah me too. Good kicking game, would take a shit tonne of pressure off Pearce and ponga. He would be on the top of my recruitment list for next season. 6 is our biggest problem. The club genuinely does not have a first-grade quality starting 6.

Re: 2019 NIB Knights
I'm hearing Ponga wants a 6 million contact at 1.5million over 4 years....wow
The kids a talent but taking up so much cap space can be dangerous, offer him 1.2 million and make up the rest in TPAs and under the table deals like the Roosters do
