I did the exact same thing. Meant to switch to Antonio (c) and Fernandes (vc) before lockout and forgot to save.

Nah made it in time to take it off, he went well but yeah ideally in a double game week it can be used better

Thankfully Son (c) over Antonio didn't really cost me

Planning on using WC during the international break but would ideally like to know CR7 price before doing so

If you are going to Wildcard. Do it now and grab some of the price changes at 1:30pm NZ Time today mate. Grab those who will look to double rise over the break and get rid of those in your team who will likely drop value.

Expectations are CR7 is likely to be around 12.5 as a FWD. Hopefully gets added soon and starts v Newcastle. Will be in my team and captain

Also, I am looking at GW7 cor my Wildcard. Big change in fixtures for a lot of teams

Yep same for me, I'll just be taking a 4 point hit to get Ronaldo if he's confirmed to play GW4

Yea holding out for the first fixture swing. Can grab Ronaldo without a hit if I go in straight up.

Also planning GW7 for first wild card. ATM got a little too much money in defense but not hugely hurting my team. Planning to bank a transfer this week and then assess Ronaldo situation for first game. Jota an option if Firmino injury is serious especially with a wildcard on the horizon

Yeah this is a big situation to monitor. If Firmino is out Jota looks a must have.

Other contenders for me downgrade Bruno to afford CR7 spot are Traore, Torres and Raphina(preferably week after), and maybe Sarr. (Have Benrahma and will sell Buendia soon).

Livra in for Tsimikas this week. I'm going to see how Ronaldo slots in and gets going b4 worrying about him.

I see cr7 is 10% already.

Tempted to get him early and set and forget... has to be at the expense of Bruno though and he's been the best asset for the last season and a half.

Tough.

Wait and see on CR7......hopefully Greenwood doesn't lose out. I still suspect Bruno outscores him to the end of the season.

Watched a great video on Ronaldo FPL potential today

From about 1 hour in they run through some stats. Ronaldo had a huge volume of shots but roughly 1/3 of them were blocked. A chunk of his shots come from outside the box where he hardly ever converts (3 goals from ~120 odd shots in the last 3 years). Ronaldo was playing in one of the best teams in the world for supplying crosses and is now facing a Utd team with no elite crossers (Shaw the best ranked 30th in PL last year). His goals were very fixture dependent and the draw is not very favourable. I'm holding tight on Salah, will move Fernandes next week and probably grab Lukaku in the short term

I don't really care if Ronaldo has 1/3 of his shots blocked.

He averages 6-7 shots per game, so even if you just discount them, he still has more shots than basically everyone else in the league.

I've got him in, but I am not playing this game 100% seriously, just having a bit of fun.

Fernandes to Jota and Ings to Ronaldo

Comparable to Kane and Salah. There will be a time period when Ronaldo is in my team but I don't think it's when they have a run that includes West Ham, Everton, Leicester, Liverpool, Spurs, City and Chelsea in the next 10 weeks. He probably scores against Newcastle, but after that only easy games are against Villa and Watford

Ronaldo in for GW4 and then will replace him with Lukaku GW7 is the plan

Only concern is I am not entirely sure Ronaldo starts against Newcastle, may come off the bench.
