If you WC in GW28, it makes sense to BB in GW29, otherwise you have to wait for GW33 or GW36 to BB, and it will be hard to maintain a good 15 for that length of time.

this was a bad week to give up on taking hits. Was considering double chelsea defence but didn't want to take a -8...damn you james.

I was too chicken to go for James, went for the safe option with Rudiger and captained him - and was happy to see 6 points from him only to then see James goal, assist and clean sheet and subbed at 70mins

Same - went off my usual script of picking the more attacking defender because wasn’t sure he’d play both games, which hardly matters in you get 18pts in 1!

Last minute change on WC got me fuming tho. Took Fraser out for Willock hahah. Repay my faith v Southampton, Willock!

Still fairly solid BB with 14 + Dubravka and up to 1st in league

I'm calling false advertising because you didn't forget by GW2

Took a -8 hit to buy Rudiger (I was concerned about James's minutes) and Raphinha. Captained Salah and had the VC on Coutinho. Sliding door moments.

Aaand just like that James is injured again, out for a couple weeks. Still probably going to be the best captain playing only one game of the double

I hope no one did an early transfer for him

The reason I didn’t get him was thought he’d miss GW29 when might bench boost.

Didn’t think it’d be injury though. He does cop a lot of them

Yeah you're killing it. I was very close to going with either Mount or Coutinho for captain but went Rudi for "safety",yikes.

I captained Couthinho. The only thing I've got right all season.

Not sure what to do this gameweek, I have 3 options:

1. Take a -4 hit to get from 5 to 7 DGW players, would then free hit in 30.

2. Wildcard this week to a team that has 7-8 doublers in GW29 and also 8-9 players that play in GW30 and save the free hit.

3. Alternative wildcard option is also just to go big on Liverpool, Spurs, Arsenal, Chelsea etc and build the team I like for the long term and then still commit to FH30. Would give a great GW29 team and a good team GW31 onwards but does mean I use both WC and FH in back to back weeks. We might also know more about future doubles if I save the WC for GW31 or later.

Have no idea between the three right now...

Given you’ve used BB like me I’d just build strongest 11 on WC

Yeah I think WC does make sense. Having a bit of a play around now the difference between the team from #2 and #3 is probably not actually that big. The WC team that can also cover 30 is still pretty solid. I like the idea of saving FH instead of using it for 30 as it is such a weak set of games.

What are your plans? What chips do you have left?

Got FH2 & WC left.

Transferring through 30 to get 11 with -4 and WC 31, probably FH36 to match the bench boosters
