Rd 22 trades

One trade left, $225k in the bank.  Mahoney the obvious trade-out, given Lolo and Crichton should be back for at least one game.  

Question is do we trade now, or hold for an emergency in the last three weeks?  Mahoney plus cash in bank means we don't have to worry about price movements.

If Cleary plays we'll have 17.  If we want to trade (eg because Cleary is out and we'll only be playing 16), then should we bring in a WFB (the only position we don't have any back-up for) or otherwise pick the best player available?

Man, that is a pickle. Definitely think it's wise to hold the trade if Cleary suits up, but also wise to use it if he doesn't.

Individually, I preferred Doueihi, but it'd be madness to head into last few weeks with no WFB cover, so went with Ponga.

One could argue that the last trade may as well be used regardless, to get that WFB cover and slot a better scorer into the 17 over Peachey or Verrills or Blore, but the risk with that is if Cleary does keep not getting named and something happens to DCE or Moses and you suddenly need HLF cover instead of WFB. So in light of that, I'd hold the trade unless required to field 17.

Only trade if Cleary doesn't play. Leaning towards Doueihi but wouldn't be against Ponga.

Oh lol. I am a moron. I'd definitely be going with him then, so please scrap 1 Ponga vote. That dual position cover is ideal and he's looking like well outscoring Ponga too.
