That's interesting, I was thinking that but can see Yeo getting it as the captain, origin player and all round good guy. Also Cleary could go through the game just managing it rather than getting try assists/tries which could work against him?

Dylan Edwards injury and moonboot stuff is overblown in the media. NRL physio already addressed the moon boot stuff earlier this week by saying he's likely wearing it to ensure low loads on his feet/legs during the week for best gameday preparation. He'll play, panthers just being cautious during the week. Explains why he didn't attend certain functions etc.
CC if panthers win - Cleary then Yeo (could win it even if they play average) and smokey are capewell/jfh (if they play blinders)

Agree with you on Cleary getting the CM.
Grand Finals are often won in defence - Penrith have been great. Souths have been questionable.

Here is my bumper preview!
Well here we are one of the biggest days for us in some of our lives so far..... Our 2nd GF in 50 years and here we are. Half a century ago we won our 20th premiership in 1971 and then in 2014 as we know we broke that drought and won 21 how sweet it was the best night of my life. Tonight we can get our 22nd premiership and could the fact it is 50 years on be an omen for us..... For all of us how great it would be only 7 years on to get that premiership winning feeling again. For me in 2014 I had a great feeling we would win whereas tonight it could go either way whilst I’m quietly confident and looking to send Wayne, Reyno, Gags and Su’a out on a high a win tonight would be equally as special if not more special than 2014 as this year we’ve been underdogs once Trell was suspended pretty much every man and his dog wrote us off BUT WE BELIEVE WE BELIEVE NEVER SAY DIE!!! All the pain and hurt of falling short the last 3 years and in the 4th year we have finally made it and the boys and all know how much we all want it we don’t want that feeling of falling just short it’d be gutting. All I’ve heard this week is the pain of Penrith last year blah blah blah..... but we can use our pain as motivation as well and if we do it I think this would be Wayne’s best ever premiership tbh!
Looking to the game we will be more fresh I think from having that week off a couple of weeks ago whilst Penrith did it the long way and are a bit more wounded. Hang with them in the first half and we have a great chance to come over the top of them. For us it’s about starting very well as they’ll come out all guns ablazing. Our D across the park needs to be right on we need to see that South Sydney scramble of everyone fighting for each other and working so hard for one another that can not stop for the 80mins we need to be right on AND LINE SPEED LINE SPEED BOYS... THEY ARE HOLDING US DOWN AND STANDING OFFSIDE AND WE NEED TO MATCH THAT AS AFTER A LITTLE BIT THE REF WILL PUT THE WHISTLE AWAY, FORCE EM BACK FORCE EM BACK STOP THE OFFLOADS! Ball security needs to be right on and our kick chase. In attack we must be patient build pressure make them work and break them down.
For us we need our back 3 to be right on song especially under the high ball. As we know we aren’t always great at defusing kicks and tonight we just can’t make silly errors. Campbell and Gags will need massive games especially in defence and shit work carries. I can’t wait to see Ta’affe bring the ball back with energy and put AJ over for a try or two. Reyno and Cody their last match together they’ll be pumped to put on a Masterclass but they can’t do it without our pack FIRE UP BOYS AND FIGHT FOR EVERY METRE UP THE GUTS! Nicholls and Junior have a massive role to come out and go with JFH and Leota. Murray will be a machine and scrap for everything we know that whilst we need hard hitting D from Keaon and brute man Su’a on the edges. Tom and Arrow off the bench cmon lads we know we have the better bench than them lets show it. I also hope for Benji magic at some point and Hosty doing his job off the bench. It’s a massive day for Coolie he can’t miss any vital tackles in defence he has to be on and his passes need to be on the mark and FAST and crisp. When he can run he needs to take off with no hesitation even if the ruck is slow he has to get into the game. And in attack please don’t throw lots of crash balls.

Looking to the game we will be more fresh I think from having that week off a couple of weeks ago whilst Penrith did it the long way and are a bit more wounded. Hang with them in the first half and we have a great chance to come over the top of them. For us it’s about starting very well as they’ll come out all guns ablazing. Our D across the park needs to be right on we need to see that South Sydney scramble of everyone fighting for each other and working so hard for one another that can not stop for the 80mins we need to be right on AND LINE SPEED LINE SPEED BOYS... Ball security needs to be right on and our kick chase. In attack we must be patient build pressure make them work and break them down.
For us we need our back 3 to be right on song especially under the high ball. As we know we aren’t always great at defusing kicks and tonight we just can’t make silly errors. Campbell and Gags will need massive games especially in defence and shit work carries. I can’t wait to see Ta’affe bring the ball back with energy and put AJ over for a try or two. Reyno and Cody their last match together they’ll be pumped to put on a Masterclass but they can’t do it without our pack FIRE UP BOYS AND FIGHT FOR EVERY METRE UP THE GUTS! Nicholls and Junior have a massive role to come out and go with JFH and Leota. Murray will be a machine and scrap for everything we know that whilst we need hard hitting D from Keaon and brute man Su’a on the edges. Tom and Arrow off the bench cmon lads we know we have the better bench than them lets show it. I also hope for Benji magic at some point and Hosty doing his job off the bench. It’s a massive day for Coolie he can’t miss any vital tackles in defence he has to be on and his passes need to be on the mark and FAST and crisp. When he can run he needs to take off with no hesitation even if the ruck is slow he has to get into the game. And in attack please don’t throw lots of crash balls.
For Penrith obviously they have Yeo, Kikau, Martin, JFH, Api, Cleary, Luai, To’o, Edwards, S. Crichton they have threats all over the park so we have a tough ask to stop them but we can do this by showing more hunger and energy in everything we do.
Well the build up has been massive and I’m sure we have soaked up every minute of it As these occasions are very rare. We have support all over the country and all over the world WE HAVE THE BEST SUPPORT IN THE GAME WE KNOW WE DO!!!
