Finals Footy - Grand Final Edition

Welcome to the grand final wildcard edition!

Similar rules to last week + wildcard bonus
- budget $4,500,000 (nrl fantasy player cost)
- 7 player squad
- any amount of players from either team
- 1 wildcard player (bonus points to be confirmed from poll results)
- Pick a Captain (c), as in regular fantasy the score is doubled. (Wildcard player can't be captain)
- nrl fantasy positions apply (not TLT)

It's worked for me so far.. oh wait

I'm locking in the double points for Cleary and punting on workhorse Yeo taking out the Clive Churchill, especially if Panthers are short a couple of forwards. Not uncommon for LKs to get the nod, but would be hard to overlook Cleary when Panthers win.

Not like I've got anything to lose with my rank.

If it ends up being first try-scorer instead of CC Medal, same personnel, I'll just swap To'o to WC, Cleary to HLF and Taaffe to WFB.

Just had a look, since 2000 it's only gone to a non-spine player 6 times (SBurgess and G Steward the only locks). Yeo does feel like a good shout though. Was tempted to do the same, but just feels like if the Panthers win it'll be Cleary almost regardless of how he plays.

Yeah Cleary was my ideal choice, but would have to swap some players out despite having Burton and Taaffe with HLF dual.

I probably should've said forwards are a decent shout for the CC after looking closer.
