I have 10 trades atm but going to max trade for rd. 17 numbers...I'm looking to bring in Matterson & Barnett this round selling Tohu & N. Butcher...I might change my mind re Matterson & wait till rd 17 for him just in case he's picked for origin 3. Currently I have 7 rd. 17 players but that includes Hynes.

Thanks mate, easily my best round this season. I even got the call of Kiraz v Mam right for last reserve. I didnt expect that. Im focussed on eliminator now given my overall ranking isnt great due to a poor start.

Im really enjoying this format though, probably made a few errors early on picking players more suited to SC but have now made lots of progress and have a decent team, not a great bench but my 17 is fairly strong i think.

Nice trades. I havent even looked ahead to round 17 yet, i know it will be a struggle though. Ill have a look now

Round 17 wont be as bad as i thought, i expect to have 12 players available and potentially more if some of my bench players get starts. Wont know what trades/if any to make until the round comes up but if im lucky i might be able to field 15 or so!

I had a look at the teams ahead of me & for rd. 17 I have a couple more players than any of them so hopefully this will give me a bit of a boost to catch them. No. 1 & 2 are out of reach but from 3rd place they aren't that far ahead of me.

Would you sell Munster....he is a pod for me as no one else ahead of me has him but they all own DCE...I feel it could pressure me into selling Munster because if DCE goes large it may put me further behind but they play the Storm so the damage may not be so marked. So which option do you like with 10 trades left:
(a) keep Munster (could possibly miss the next 3 games if rested this round & rd. 18) or
(b) sell Munster to DCE or
(c) sell Munster to Hughes.

With 10 trades left and 9 Rounds to be played I think you can make up 393 points especially if you get your captaincy picks right.

Tough question WL. All three are valid options. If you have enough trades, maybe play Hughes Rounds 16-18, and then look to bring in Munster or DCE or both after that for the run home.

Disclaimer: I own Munster, and I'm planning to hold him, plus bring in DCE after Origin III. However, I'm not coming 6th, and I'm not competing against the top 5 teams.

I've brought Papy in for sexton in Fantasy. I think jumping early to make up ranks is worthy. But if you're defending then I'd be looking at Moses
