It really is luck in any given game, and Kiraz and Cleary this past week just prove what a lottery it all is.

cheers mate, can't complain too much. I now find myself with 10 trades to shop with over the last five weeks, and a couple of trade boosts to boot. Too far back to make much of a dent but hopefully can get back into the top 100.

Eliminator comes down to:

Haas, Tedesco, Munster, Grant, Fifita, DCE, Cook (c), Murray, Mitchell, Pole

vs

Haas (c), Crichton, Reynolds, Aitken, Tohu, Api, Elliot, Tapine, Robson, Burton

Lots of PODs obviously. I'm not sure they will end up going with Haas as captain and they have Hamole on the bench so he may come in for Elliot(?)

It would've been nice if Klemmer wasnt stood down for me but it coincides with Pole moving into the starting side so hopefully I dont lose too many points. I like the matchups for the Storm and Rabbitohs so fingers crossed having several PODs from those teams gives me an advantage, but no guarantee of that.

Is Crichton of the Panther variety? Looks like a very close matchup mate, so best of luck! How’s the climb up the overall rankings going?

My eliminator opponent has 2 spaces free at this stage so I cannot get a read on the matchup yet, but it looks as though it will be one that could go either way as well

Crichton is Angus. Didnt climb up last round, still in the mid 300s but feel i should still go up a bit from here.

Your team is so strong that im sure you would have the advantage but the best team doesnt always win. The eliminator obviously requires an amazing amount of luck but it would be incredible if you could win overall and eliminator - long way to go though! Best of luck with your matchup this round.

Oh so they have Aitken at 2nd row? Fingers crossed you climb the rankings mate, you have the team to do so.

Ha yeah I actually got to the eliminator final last season as well as winning overall, and I didn’t think that was possible, so strange things do happen! Haha
Eliminator is still very much secondary to me though, as I can’t afford to make silly changes to combat a one off luck matchup each week

Klemmer out is good for me as 1st-3rd all have him & I don't but of course it depends on their trades left situation because he's a good price to get a good replacement.

I could probably find out about 1st places trades situation for you if you like? But I hear he is very secretive and frankly quite a knob to try and deal with…

I've heard quite the opposite in that he's very open & transparent. I've also heard that because he has 1st place in the bag for some unknown reason he was gifting 100 of his points to 4th place. What a great person he is.

yeah i noticed 2nd & 3rd swapped around & 5th had a great round & i'm only slightly ahead of him 8 points

Yeah all the top 10 teams are really solid and trading blows each week it seems. It’s going to be a tight and nervous run home from here

Should definitely trade Cleary to Munster...right? Brown is so tempting, despite me having already traded him in and out once this season
