If Paix was starting hooker round 1 that would be a cheapie for everyone. But how secure would his spot be? Can imagine Turpin getting starting back by round 3 and everyone having to burn trades.

Cobbo is awkwardly priced. Worth paying $100k over other options if he gets a fullback gig?

Broncos trial could be one of the most watched by fantasy people this weekend to watch those 2 (and whoever gets the 6)

In QLD Cup last year at FB Cobbo avg was 52.7.

Which would be fine if you could expect that in the NRL. But one of those QCUP games he got 18 tackle breaks in a single match. Do you think he'll do that in the NRL?

You think he’s a trap priced at 36?

You reckon it’s unlikely could avg around 44-45 if he starts at FB?

If Cobbo looks good this week and gets the 1 he will have DPP too I’d take the punt on him I think. All he needs is one big score and could get good cash rises.

450k is yikes.

I mean CNK and Laurie both went close to 45 average as rookie FBs in average teams, but they also started a lot cheaper.

Yeah Cobbo at 450k & didn't he come out & say he wants to play on the wing but I could fit him in as my 2nd f/b so will decide later.
Now Paix is 1 of my bogey players over the last couple of years I picked him later in the season when I had sfa trades left & he gets himself injured. That's a bit of a trend with a lot of the younger Broncos halves/utilities.

It's not a binary choice between "autopick" and "trap"

It's feasible he could get to a 45 point average, and I might end up picking him. But I am not rushing him into my team just because he's at fullback

With the amount of chopping and changing that happened last year at the bronx I'm just gonna avoid their players first up, same with the Cowboys. Much better for my mental health that way.

Billy Walters at 6 would be the only one to make my NPRs, decent enough avg and cheap as they come. Coaches son doesn't hurt his case either.

Actually Nofoaluma is only 5k more than Cobbo...Nofo looked in good form in the trial scored a nice try & had a few of his tackle busting runs. I have never had Nofo in my team over the years I might give him a go this year.
