You were sold on him before the last trial. He has held his own on the wing last year. Surely your opinion can't swing that much after one trial

They did the worst thing possible for his confidence, putting him as the only 1st grader with all the NSW cup team, playing his new position. Would have been better off just playing him next to Cody.

I think I may have finally come to something I’m settled on after hours and hours....

I have gone all out lol, team with 2k spare is....

So I managed to fit in Teddy, Pap, Hynes, Haas, Fifita, Cheese, Arrow, Bird and Mann.

By having Hynes in my 14-21 he covers WFB so I avoid having to risk it on a very cheap WFB. Koula I can use as a loop upcoming and he only needs one backline player to be out to play so with Covid around and injuries I don’t think it’ll be too long before he comes in for Manly.

Thoughts please on that side? And I have 8 DPP players.

What was Paulo's injury status throughout last year? Played 40min in round 2 then didn't play again til round 7.... then missed rounds 9-18 but was that selection?

Then missed round 23.

I think having 2*300k+ players in your emg's is 1 too much...if you need a cash injection downgrade 1 of them

I’ve just missed the last 40 odd pages and couldn’t be arsed to try to catch up -bloody work! All I need to know is if Paps is still a potential out or do I just put him back in over Squid Games and if he is a late out replace him with Hynes?

Wasn’t any better in the CS Zac Lomax gave him a bath. I think he missed 5 tackles in a single half I wasn’t impressed. Alarm bells are ringing too with him on Kotoni this week I’m worried as a Bunny diehard and I’d be worried if I had him in my fantasy team.

If Papy is a late out do you plan to trade him? If yes, I'd switch him with Hynes so you have more options.

Edit: difference for me vs Watson vibes which are understandable is that Mann can pass and direct play as a 3rd half like radley. Our attack was bottom 4 last year despite making the 8. Current word is O’Brien wants Mann to be there most of the time to help us move the ball laterally quicker and ask more questions in attack. Liked what I saw against the storm

Doesn’t mean he will outscore Watson but at mid, DPP, and likely to get through plenty of tackles I can see 10 points there.

There aren’t that many cheapies around I like though. I don’t trust A. Fifita, Walters, Vailea or Russell.

I went for a bit of a more squad depth approach especially in a Covid affected year 3 of my blokes could be out in a couple of weeks and I don’t wanna go oh fuck A. Fifita/Walters/Vailea have been dropped and then have to only play with say 16 and have to worry about trading the 240k players out when I’m likely to have other spotfires to put out.

No idea if Pap is back next week I’d probs just hold.

Who could I trade Pap out for though 638k and under? Hynes is my WFB cover too so if I move Hynes in for Pap all of a sudden I’d have no WFB cover if I moved Pap out.

Still tinkering but this is a decision I'm flipping on...

Note that starting CTRs are Bird + Penis

TD: JDB + Tago (EMG) + 99k bank

Benefits of first are.. Haas, and banking on Smith doing well with the Roosters. Though his base is bad (21 with a try previously) and has Momo (move to CTR), Suaalii and Naiqama as challengers for his spot

Benefits of second.. banking on JDB elevating his scoring to a high 50/low 60 average so a well-priced option, Tago may start slow but seems a worker and only better when Cleary's back, and lots more $$$ in the bank to fix any first round blunders
