    Hey Rabbits

Let's say you make those trades. If Bird scores 50, Penisini 25 and Cheese scores 60 then it will only have cost you 25 points to get Crichton's score into your 17. As an added bonus you'll have a decent kitty to help you try to get Jack Bird back into your squad.

    Go for it!

Bit of perspective for anyone bummed with not starting with Tago is he made as many tackles as their starting hooker, won't happen every week

After Roosters they have Dogs, Knights Raiders Titans.

Lost cash only matters if you sell. If you think he's going to go on a run and get some big scores, last thing you want to do is sell just before he does it.

BTW you'd think people would have learnt from last year. I honestly thought people were just making jokes when there were multiple posts about trading Leniu in 1 hour before lockout.

Until Cleary started posting regular monster scores, captaining a back was always risky. HOKs and 2RFs used to be the best for consistent scoring but I think that has changed in the last couple of years. I will still try and captain a forward where I can if Cleary is not around because there is less risk of a lower score. A back needs tries and line breaks to make up for a lack of numbers that a forward gets from base tackling.

There's also a school of thought which says that you should be looking to captain your most expensive player. Not sure I agree with that either.

No Cleary has made the start of the fantasy season more interesting. You won't be the only one who captained Turbo so there is plenty of chance to switch your captain for next week and rise up the rankings.

In hindsight I'm actually glad Cleary was out because I was getting nervously close to starting without him (if he was named). He would've scored high 80s I think if he was put in that game

Don't beat yourself up too much bro from round 3 Manly have a great run & Turbo will carve it up. Manly were dominated & on the back foot all game so that's hard for a f/b. Manly will bounce back against the Roosters. I think you have to stick with Turbo because he's class & will bounce back. Just by going off how fantasy usually works...Turbo gets a low score, you sell him then boom he scores 70+.

Related for those trading Hudson Young to Grant. Its possible this move will lose you points for the week. If Hudson Young performs the way you expect him to, it would be likely. Either way the net points difference is likely to be minimal.
So I guess it depends on how much you would value Grant in your team going forward, rather than just this weeks points.

personally, if we get news that Pappy is out today, I might trade him to Latrell.
Don't want to risk Pappy being a week to week proposition and missing a month. That shit happened to me last year

Have ended up with Haas over Ipap but really can't go wrong with both. DPP doesn't matter to me already got around 7 DPP players in my team so it shouldn't be an issue

Thanks Cow. Yeah I know all that truthfully. I guess I'm looking for an excuse to get rid of a POD in Young also.

Are people expecting Grant to play 80 minutes this year? I know they are light on forwards so is cheese moving back to lock for good do we think from next week?

It's only been 1 game in the first round of the season.

For people running with no hooker cover for Randall, and Crichton in 18: Trading Young to Grant seems like it might be a safe way to get some hooker coverage in.

I don't know if I'd play around with my team too much after just 1 game of the round
