Looks like some score updates (Crichton 55, Tago 61, DCE 59) but still no updates on the offloads.

Fuck it Cheese highest score in the last 3 years is 72. Grant has a higher ceiling.
Opacic on that side avg 41 in the first 10 rounds last year and I think Penisini is a better player. Worst case should avg 36-37 first 10 rounds and I need a Parra bloke in my team.
Lol.

So DCE had 549km last night. That's a decent night out
In old scoring that would've been 27 points. This year, instead that's 18 points so a 9 point swing is huge
Does this put anyone off Burton? He's still the one player I have real FOMO if I leave out but can't help but think the kicking nerf + him starting slow in that Dogs side means he's a 'wait and see' rather than a must have from the start
He does play the first bye so is a probable pick up by then and hope he doesn't gain too much cash?

I laugh, but I'm leaning towards Young out for Grant.
Beth, what are you expecting to see from Grant this year? More minutes?

Think I've got it down to Walters, Fifita, or Russell for the last spot.
Walters provably scores best this week, but who knows if he starts round 2. Russell probably best JS, and Fifita biggest risk/reward.

I skipped Tago but i havent given much thought to getting him in. Possibly a mistake. Annoyed i didnt start with him but do i really want to start using trades on centres after one week?
There will be other players that have big games too

Would anyone do Amone & Nofo -> L.Mitchell & Vailea
If it meant using the piggy bank to get Chrichton's 58?
Edit:
could also do Mann & Nofo -> Nuff + Latrell.
And I was off man until @PongaYeotheMann talked him up......
I’m gonna cop it if Mann is not the Mann aren’t I.. backing my boy!

THIS! I remember a few years ago Sivo scored like 10 and 25 in his first two games and was dropped by a lot of teams, then went on a rampage and went huge then went on to average like 40 points for the rest of the year.

Beth, what are you expecting to see from Grant this year? More minutes?
Quote from Beth: "Because Cheese will start at hooker, with Grant coming off the bench and King coming off when that happens.
King will get 2 stints, one ~20 minute stint at lock to start, and then another ~20 minute stint at prop later in the game
Grant will come on at ~20 minutes and play out the game, while Cheese will play the first ~20 minutes at hooker and then play 40 more minutes at lock.
This combination is what they were doing last year, but with King there instead of Finucane."

Holy shit can this round just be done so we don't have to see Rabs' new team idea every 20 mins (respectfully of course)

Is a massive nerf tbf, Burton still should have a good floor and high ceiling.
Very underrated ball runner as a halfback so should cross over the white line a few times whilst also setting quite a few up

I don't think so... according to this King is "stepping into" Finucanes role but Beth as King only playing 40 minutes, but Finucane averaged 61.5 minutes a game last year when starting lock and that includes a game where he played 30 minutes, take that out and he averaged 64.7 minutes a game. So either King is going to get close to 60 minutes a game or Cheese players longer at lock.
