The main point being Rapana asked to use the loophole, was told it didn't exist. Then NRL changed their mind after it was too late for Rapana.
The absolute best case scenario for the NRL is complete incompetence. There is no way they come out of it looking good.

Tualagi was interesting. He had a huge first half. In everything. On 30 pts at HT. Hit a wall in the second half. Was walking most of the time, and then subbed off.

What happens next week?

What a shitshow of a round, this one's been my worst in probably 4 seasons, I don't think I've had one this bad since I joined the forum in 2018.

14/556c, with only Ipap, Fifita and Penisini left to play. I knew captaining Cheese was a risk, but nobody could have guessed he'd break his hand within 2 minutes of kickoff, that's just bad luck. The other B Smith wasn't too flash either, I might just sell them both next week for Grant and some other cheapie.

The rest of the team went alright

Rolled the dice with too many cows. Isn't fatal, have the funds to correct it.

Reckon Watson > Grant next week has enough upside? (ie Wishart stays the fuck away and minds his own business)

Don't want to be rude but almost made fatal mistake of going without Haas then came to senses and got him back in and C. Play EPL Fantasy longer than NRL and currently you just have to go Salah C most weeks because of EO(Effective Ownership) where he is 200% his score if you don't own let alone C.
Long story short play easy percentages early. If bulk captained player fails you fail with herd. Gamble C picks are for later on if chasing mini league deficit

Haha I've gotta get Stefano out too but yeah I did dodge a fair share of carnage so far

He managed to score rubbish 3pts last game when loads didn't have because loads of other teams had double game weeks. Sneaky. Funny was trying to explain to old lad mate in pub tonight who doesn't do fantasy sports how fantasy NRL was amazing compared to FPL because player from rubbish team that loses badly can still score good fantasy points

Wish I could +1 this more than once, great way of putting it

At the top of all my pre-season planning I put in massive text kiss (keep it simple stupid), cause I've got quite the track record for going off on my own track thinking I'm a genius. This game is an even mix of planning, smart moves and then a shit ton of luck. From my experience good planning and good trading will get you a good result more often than not, a mix of the two plus luck makes it a great season

I know, just didn't think Haas would offload as much as he did. He made 10 offloads all season last year and then made 4 in one game, 2 tries worth of scoring. The way I saw it, the only captain who was that reliable was Cleary who's injured, so figured I might as well take a punt.

I'll definitely be captaining Haas from now on, at least until I can get Cleary in.

1. an anomoly
2. an intended expansion of his game
3. evidence that he plays fantasy

Next week Kobe is back, then Flegler soon after that.
