Comment on Reddit, not me btw..

"Pretty rubbish effort from the Chooks' medical staff yesterday. How Radley had to be brought off by the bunker medic is beyond me, there was way too much force in that contact. Especially considering this team's history with concussions."

This is what I'm talking about. Someone needs to be held accountable, fined or banned or something. Ridiculous.

I'm still considering that trade. I left myself no cash which would be fine if everyone gunned it but not the case. Walters might not start and I'd prefer not to have to play Ilias so I'm going to need another starter probably. TPJ to Fermor should free up enough cash for Vailea to Starling (depending on the Hodgson diagnosis) Otherwise the money might be useful to try and find a way to get Grant in.

Hodgson might only be out for two weeks per NRL Physio. Could actually make Hodgson himself a buy in a month or so.

I'll admit it was a gamble based on Knights bias - also, I figured with Joey joining the coaching team, BigRedDog must learn something about game management and kick selection.
The Knights played well, they may not have the best team on paper, but that doesn't stop them. The new team structure may help them get to the top 8

    I’d do that.

I don’t think there scoring will represent a 217k difference in price. I think that money will definitely come in handy next week to patch some holes

Certainly I'd like to keep TPJ and if he's a late out, I get Tago's score, so not a disaster. Would mean definitely having to wait on Grant though, but just need to be happy that my picks are going well (so far) rather than worrying about the one's you miss.

    TPJ hype.

Only grabbed him because the new offloads scoring system is going to benefit him the most, based on last year.

Horrible last 18 hours after the knights amazing win with smith and Amone crippling my team and then taking the dog to emergency at 2-5AM after he had a few seizures

While waiting for blood test results for him I thought I could solve my centre issue potentially by moving sexton to burton today, then Schneider into my 17 next week and burton into the centres, stash smith away in EMGs until he improves/someone comes along I can replace him with

I liked the sexton pick and fantasy law means a change like this usually goes against me but saves me the centre merry go round and fixes my initial mistake of not just getting 2 clear picks with good job security

    Any flaws?

I don’t know exactly how it works but In Robbo’s presser he seemed to imply the medic isn’t at the ground, in the bunker as you said, and taking both players from the field was based on replay vision. He stated neither player had any concussion symptoms and Radley’s issue was neck related. At the time it did look like he may have momentarily lost consciousness, but perhaps he was just reacting to the pain / impact. Or could just be coaches gripes - he did however say he agreed with the intent of the rule changes, but the medic should be on hand to conduct proper tests rather than giving a grade 1 assessment remotely and leaving them 2 players short.

Seems solid enough to me. Sexton is possbily a rd13 playing keeper. But Burton is too and they're the same price and he has dpp. Schnieder should be good enough for your 17. Burton is in my team. And indeed it gives you time to decided who comes in for Smith rather than rushing in someone dubious. It could backfire of course, I rate the Sexton pick, and I'm hoping the Cows destroy the Bulldogs. Hope the dog's okay.

Thanks legends. Not sure on the best mate as the bloods came up clear and the alternatives aren’t awesome but will monitor him

I think I’ll just do burton and hope for the best, save myself the weekly centre merry go round. I actually think my strength in fantasy is my trade ins through the season but centres were half my trades last season. Aitken and burton to start should have been my play so I’ll half correct that now

Can always grab sexton if he looks the good but I can’t play smith in my 17 next week even if he keeps his spot

If Starling is a no go, Josh King would be the other cheapie I'd need cash for.

Anyone else I've missed - cheapies (<400k) who will have a low BE next week, not named Bullemor, Schneider, Paulo, Tago, Crichton, Randall, Walter, Tuilagi?

I’m not sure what I’ll do if he is ruled out. I may have to go Matterson, even though I have Ipap.

I will probably just watch Grant from behind the couch for a week.
