Round 3 Late Mail

Panthers v Knights, Saturday 3.00pm, Carrington Park

Panthers:

Spencer Leniu will move into the run-on side in place of James Fisher-Harris while J'maine Hopgood is the new face on the bench. Chris Smith comes in for Liam Martin in the back row.h Nathan Cleary will be held back another week after originally being named in the reserves.

Lindsay Smith is the 18th man and Robert Jennings was the last man cut an hour before kick-off.

Knights:

Kalyn Ponga won't return from the knee injury which kept him out of Sunday's win over Wests Tigers so Tex Hoy takes over at fullback. Prop Daniel Saifiti (leg) is back on deck, however, so Mitch Barnett reverts to the second row and fills the void left by Lachlan Fitzgibbon (knee).

Sauaso Sue was the last man cut an hour before kick-off and Simi Sasagi is 18th man.

Round 3 Late Mail

Broncos v Cowboys, Sunday 4.05pm, Suncorp Stadium

Broncos: 

Patrick Carrigan suffered a knee injury at training on Thursday but will play. The one change to the side sees Corey Jensen promoted from the reserves list to the interchange bench in a swap with TC Robati.

Cowboys: Will line up as per program. Reuben Cotter joins the bench in place of Mitchell Dunn, who suffered a season-ending knee injury against the Raiders.

Titans v Wests Tigers, Thursday, 8.05pm AEDT, Cbus Super Stadium

Titans: 

A change on Thursday with Isaac Liu ruled out after testing positive to COVID. His place is taken by Jaimin Jolliffe with Jarrod Wallace joining the bench.

Former Bronco Jamayne Isaako plays his first game for the club at fullback replacing the injured Jayden Campbell (ribs) while Corey Thompson returns from a hand injury in place of Phillip Sami (COVID) on the wing.

Beau Fermor was ruled out in the final team list, with Kevin Proctor starting on an edge and Sam McIntyre joining the bench. 

Wests Tigers: 

The club will run out 1-17. James Roberts (quad), winger Ken Maumalo (ankle) and back-rower Kelma Tuilagi (head knock) all return from injury.

Sharks v Knights, Friday, 6.00pm, PointsBet Stadium

Sharks: 

The Sharks are 1-17 with no late changes. Luke Metcalf is 18th man.

Siosifa Talakai moves from second row to centre to replace Connor Tracey (groin). Teig Wilton returns from suspension in the second row. Aiden Tolman will come from the bench in his 300th NRL game.

Knights: 

A late switch in the front row with Leo Thompson starting and Jacob Saifiti moving to the bench. Pasami Saulo is the last man cut and Simi Sasagi is 18th man.

Skipper Kalyn Ponga has again been named to return from a knee injury at fullback while Brodie Jones is the replacement for Mitch Barnett, who was handed a six-game ban at the judiciary on Tuesday night.

Warriors v Broncos, Saturday, 3.00pm AEDT, Moreton Daily Stadium

Warriors: 

No late changes on game day.

Shaun Johnson will make his return from a pectoral injury with Kodi Nikorima going back to the bench. Rocco Berry is out with a virus so Marcelo Montoya pushes into the centres and Edward Kosi joins the side on the wing. 

Jazz Tevaga starts at lock in jersey No.14 and Eliesa Katoa will come from the bench after overcoming an eye injury suffered in round three.

Ben Murdoch-Masila has been added to the bench, pushing Jack Murchie back to 18th man.

Broncos: 

A late switch an hour before kick-off withThomas Flegler promoted to the starting side in his return from suspension and Ryan James going to the bench.

Kurt Capewell (calf) and Jordan Riki (ribs) dropped out of the squad on Friday. TC Robati comes into the starting side and Brenko Lee joins the bench for his first game in Broncos colours.

Storm v Bulldogs, Sunday, 4.05pm AEDT, AAMI Park

Storm: 

A change 24 hours before kick-off with Dean Ieremia forced out with a hamstring injury and Nick Meaney taking his place on the wing. The team is otherwise 1-17 on game day. 

On the other wing Xavier Coates is back from a hamstring injury while hooker Harry Grant (COVID-19) also returns, with Brandon Smith reverting to the bench. 

Bulldogs: 

Aaron Schoupp came out of the side on Saturday and has been replaced in the centres by Jake Averillo. Joe Stimson replaced Ava Seumanufagai on the bench in the game-day team list. 

The Dogs have lost Jack Hetherington to a shoulder injury, with Corey Waddell officially in the run-on side this week. Max King has been named despite going off early last week to manage a niggle.

Knights: 

Tyson Frizell has been confirmed to play despite hamstring tightness last week and is expected to play, with the Knights 1-17 in their final team list and unchanged from round four. 

Sea Eagles: 

Tolutau Koula, who was himself set to replace the injured Tom Trbojevic, has been ruled out with injury. Brad Parker returns to take his place in the centres with Christian Tuipulotu shifting to the wing and Reuben Garrick to fullback in the game day 17.
