But then on field shows, that yes, just throw him the ball. That's what has worked so far. And they don't want to be predictable obviously, but all he needs is a second or a glimpse of space,,  standing flat is no good, but it doesn't have to be a master-stroke of a play to get him involved either.

Apparently for the Titans spine it IS a "master-stroke to get him involved".

951 all out this week. Happy with the start as I also had Walters, M.King and Russell in EMG.

    What went well
Wilton - massive thanks to the guys on here (Mainly mattnz) and Byron OTL for getting me to consider him. Great start and he looked like a man on a mission. Can he back it up next week? Will he drop to the bench as soon as Wade is fit? Perhaps

Captain Haas - swichted Fitfita out for Haas and put the C on him on Thursday. Big minutes plus some offloads, hope it can continue. That said I know Fitfita and Haas could easily swap scores next week.

Aitken - very happy with that base

Nanai - looking like a great cow who is very playable

    What was okay
Papali'i saving his score with a good junk time run. Happy with his role though

Hynes - didnt do a great deal but a nice score

Sexton - was looking good first half, score stalled in second but I think thats more a sympton of how the game panned out

    My concerns
Utokamanu - great start from an NRL point of view, not so much for Fantasy. Still think the attacking stats will come but not sure how patient I will be

Bird - score saved by a try. Lack of invovlement a tad worrying

Illias - bad start but Ill give him a few weeks. The memory of trading out Averillo last year is fresh. Im keen to see if his output improves with Trell back

Russell - to trade or not to trade?

Arrow was always going to be a gut feel call if he was going to work out, the stats on the EDG didn't back it up.

He had a great work rate on the field though and if he is getting big minutes as well, he should be a no-brainer pick at that price.

I thought Souths had Knight to come back, but there is no injury listed

Any interest in Gilbert? Or do we reckon 75 mins is an anomoly?

Yep, also on my radar. If he starts again this week, will be in my team.

I wonder if it was an obvious tactic to try and get Papalii 1 on 1 against guys like Smith and Fermor, but they (Moses) REALLY used him a lot close to the line. Hopefully a sign of things to come.

They also had the injury to JTB - were forced to use 7th sub to get him back off the field, 3 mins after he came on (around 59th min). I'm thinking if that doesn't happen, that change (not sure exactly when) is probably Gilbert going off for Dunn.

My wrap up for the week.

Campbell - Not only is he ball greedy, but also small and not powerful. Not the greatest combo.

Lolo - I honestly think he was tired and couldn't play more than 51mins. Hopefully, he's building up to more. Work rate looked good and PPM was up with little points outside of base. 60+ mins and .90+ PPM still on the cards.

Billy - Let's all just agree he should be named at 9

Grant - Starting with him was a tinny move that paid off.

Billy Smith, Vailea, and Ilias only scores under 32 (Tedesco). Feel I got a nice balance

    Randall
    Haas (c), Arrow, Bullemor
    Wilton, Fermor
    Sexton, Mann
    Aitken, Burton
    Tedesco, Papenhuyzen, Hynes

Walters, Max King, J King, Schneider, E Clark, Billy Smith, Vailea, Ilias.

Thinking Billy Smith and sacrificing Erin Clark to pick up the two best cash cows. Tago and maybe Nanai. Probably can't get both though after price changes.

Just floating a couple of ideas:
    1. No trades this week - currently have no red dots and I luckily landed on the better performing cows (Nanai / Tago / Schnitzel / Tui etc.) not really interested in Broncos halves so Walters is a miss for mine.
    2. Big hard early - dump Lolo & Fermor to pick up Haas and a cheapie.
    3. Play the cash gen game - still trade out Lolo & Fermor and pick up Wilton & Mann (+$200K ITB for Cleary when he's available)

While I'm loathe to trade green dots, especially players with Fantasy Gun pedigree, it's the role and minutes that worry me about both of these players.
They were both in and out of my team right up to Thursday night.
