Makes sense for those without Haas.
You captained Fifita for a reason - he can go huge, but you know his scores will fluctuate.
Leave the captaincy on him and he'll still average much higher than 51.

Here's something that might give Fifita captainers some confidence...

His scores last year after scoring under 60 the previous week:

    107
    76
    55
    65
    75
    103
    69
    30
    73

so you could argue he averages 73 after 'quiet' games.

Hey lads, I missed a majority of the Tigers game. Why is everyone jumping off the Utoikamanu train? Worth a trade, and if so, to who?

    Anyone else struggling?

I see him as a guy who can make money in limited minutes, due to his very high work rate.

He has the opportunity to end up with a bigger role due to injury / suspension.

He is $281k with a -6 BE and and now owned by 25% of teams, as the most traded in this round.

If he ends up with a starting role at some point, with 45 minutes averaging 50+, you don't want to have missed him. Definitely a safer to stay with the pack opportunity.

Who would you lock in, and who goes in the loop with Coates?

    To lock in:

    TU: MKing
    TD: Tuilagi

All good mate, I can understand that, I just have flashbacks to everybody dumping Averillo last year and regretting it, ( I kept Averillo - which is why I am giving Ilias a week or three).
I am interested to see how Latrell impacts the dynamic and if Ilias sparks up a bit more, but I respect you opting for a potential cow getting away. Good luck.

First trade in for my autofill team.

Showed in the trials and first round that he doesn't need huge minutes to make a lot of tackles, $$$ and will score enough to be in your 17 for now.
Only needs to average 32 to be worth it, should go a little higher than that and has his first score to leapfrog off.

I don't think people are trading him out because he didn't score well, more so because they needed someone to trade out and wanted to keep the rest of their players so he ended up on the chopping block.

    I'm captaining Mahoney over Haas.

    DOUBLE DOWN!!!

Slightly less confident in Reed than I would be in Fifita, but I think it can be rationalised. Or it's just stubborness. Not sure.

I guess it can never hurt to have centre coverage. I can also turn Tapine into Grant, but I am not sure this isn’t as sideways as some might think, completely dependent on Tapine’s minutes going forward.

For me, Russell to Tago is an absolute no-brainer. Tago could be a gun CTR. that frees you up to shift your DPPs around or have them sit in the 14-17.

I did not start with Tago (idiot decision). But I moved a middie out for him immediately. I had decided Tago was my no1 trade for the round during the game, he is a workaholic at CTR in the prem fav team.

I think we need an "I ride with Mahoney til I die" thread, can see it blowing up like the Milf thread.

It's all relative but won't Difi be running at Warriors "better" defensive edge of Aitken, CHT, Berry? Captain Fermor instead....

I think the titans gameplan is more relevant than the edge he's running at

Thanks for the opinions lads.  Not confident on Cook though as captain.......

A 50 and a 37 against the Storm last year. Fuck....

The only difference being is that Mahoney is a proven gun whereas the Milf thing was kind of like a celebration of how stupid we were to start with him.
