The play is Ilias to James Roberts

While I did not deliberately set up a hive of scumbaggery and villainry. If I had have looped, I would have had the opportunity to take the punt Will Smith or Walters over Ilias. This behaviour, most unbecoming of a fine group of gentleman and scholars hardly seems worth the time!

In hindsight, I'd still pick him. Starting 300K half for the Bunnies, no regrets no matter how shit he and the team has been the last two games.
I would absolutely still pick him with the info we had. Sometimes things don't work out how you want them to. That's what trades are for.

If you think it will work you should go for it. At the end of the season you can let us know if it was a success or a failure.

Yeah I've got the same policy with Vailea and Bullemor, just waiting for better cheapies while my existing ones fatten up.
Yeah don't waste trades swapping cows that are just as volatile as each other, a gem will come along, they always do.

I think I will got nothing to loose being ranked around 35k after round one.
Plus not sure how people are bringing in cleary without playing a dud 17th let alone 18th man.

Agreed. I'd like to see how it works out. I wouldn't do it personally, I'm holding Cook for example.

Ilias did the vast majority of the kicking. Pretty soon the CWalker or the coach or the rest of the team will realise what MattNZ did not with his CWalker pick and will chill out and give Ilias a chance to shine. He only had one missed tackle and will find a way to make a big score. He did not lose any money from last night's game. Keep the faith and trade him after he makes some money. With Scheider back next week, keeping him is a very low risk option.

I have faith that the Cleary solution will present itself soon enough, via injury or suspension.

Going from Mahoney to Grant for me was a planned move before I picked Mahoney. In hindsight, I should have taken Erin Clark, where the upgrade would not have been questioned, however, at this stage it paid off big time. Grant scored 58 and will do better next week with some match fitness. I had Tago in at CTR and Crichton on the bench instead of screwing around with Vailea. There are no rules that should be set in stone about keeper trades. I do not think that anyone could describe this as not a good trade in hindsight.

Would you choose a under price turbo with an easy draw now or first game cleary ?

Howdy Y'all,
Plenty of talk on the trinity of Bullemore-Ilias-Billy Smith stinking it up like roadkill armadillo, but in all honesty - outside of Randall, Tago, Nanai, Max King, Tuilangi, Schneider and Crichton - who the hell else were you going to pick under $400k?
Josh King has lucked in with Cheese breaking his hand. Amone was in the same boat as Ilias for most of last night. Coates will score <15 shortly. Sure, it sucks, but gotta play the long game.
Just gotta sit tight. The urge to drop punt them from the team is strong, but there's no point doing it until the 2022 versions of Schuster, Walsh et al come along. Saving a trade now might also let you take more of a punt on a 2022 version of Wilton from last year. Just remember Rd1-3 vs Rd5 onwards Averillo ( I will never forgive nor forget). He looked absolutely hopeless then turned it around. Who knows - Billy Smith might get a hatty next week.
Anywho, good luck with six can Saturday.
The Mayor.

If you can trade a gun to a gun and free up funds to upgrade a nuffie at the same time, I think that is a fair call given the high number of nuffies bloating the NPP.

If McInnes plays a reduced minutes role off the bench this week, he has got to be a priority over Cleary who will drop a lot in value over the first five or six weeks he plays, then have some time out over origin. Give McInnes a few weeks to bottom out after this week and get him in. Get on Clearly at close to his base price coinciding with Origin is my call.

That was my thinking on Watson>Nanai last night and only 15k in the bank. Got lucky with Watson going off as looked on track for 70 score

Turbos injury status is unknown, and is unknown exactly when he'll bottom out, and I feel Cleary is the better captaincy option. Cleary will be my priority, I'll probably wait a week to watch/start freeing up funds.

Fifita and Aitken running at each other today? Well any tackle bust or misses on their behalf evens out on my overall score now that TB's are worth two.

I like to play wait and see with guys coming back off long injuries/surgeries. I will likely target Cleary and McInnes later in the year unless they go bonkers.

You got some inside info on Cleary that you haven’t shared or are you just guessing about him dropping value? The Dolphin Conspiracies wrote:
