Bloody fantasy lol my mate photoshopped that for me lol it’s actually a reaction to me in a video impersonating Steve Smith batting in the cricket saying NO RUN NOT NOW!Cookie Monster wrote:

Haas(c), SuperMax, Burton, Randall, and Tuilagi still to come
Same players and captain to come, plus Mann, 443/11 pre-Hynes update. Seems about par.

You're one of a kind mate, good on you. Have a beer, kick back, and chill out watching the 2014 GF highlights or something.

I feel like blowing a trade on getting Gilbert straight out. I should have never had traded him in. You should never chase last weeks scores

That's why I don't intend to buy Cleary right away.
Souths and Roosters halves aren't relevant because they steal each other's stats, in other teams like the Panthers, Eels, Knights and Sharks, one half (Cleary, Moses, Clifford, Hynes) is much more dominant than the other.
By rights Cody Walker should be the dominant half but he can't hack it.
Common sense says the new rule changes should negatively impact halves more than other players, with penalties instead of six-agains reducing kick metres as well as fewer tries meaning less try assists (and goals for kickers).
Bit early to go deeply into the stats for this - would be worth looking after a couple of months - but perhaps your perception of "dominant half security" skewed by the fact that Hunt and Hynes are the players that have happened to go large this week.

I don't think it's that, and I'd forgotten about Hunt's score until you mentioned it, it's more so that halves have many more ways of scoring compared to other players, so that gives them better base and just as much upside as WFBs and EDG/MIDs
Hookers that kick are somewhat part of that, but basically the more ways a player can score, the better.

God the bargain bin for fallen guns is gonna be overflowing soon, just looking down the list you've got Turbo, Fifi and McInnes with massive drops, then you can also grab Cook, Mahoney, Crichton or Latrell at a decent discount
Not a bad mix to have on offer for your first upgrade

I like sales, for sure. Sucks when there's a sale and you have no money though..

Morning midnight hour crew,
I'm stuck in bed & can't sleep - damn you Covid.
Check Fantasy. Say a quick prayer for Lolo to score 60, he was on 39 when I crashed with 15 mins left in the game.
Lolo on 40!
The Bludgers are on 625 / 13 with C Fifita played and continuing to look uninterested and lazy as he screws me over.
Only Randall, Tuilagi, Super-Max & Big Red Dog to play.
C'mon boy, save my round like you did last week.

I guess I’m doing pretty well when I look at it, I’m owed 12 points from Thursday’s game too which hasn’t updated yet. Including that I’m 12/542. C Haas, Mann, Randall, Tuilagi and M. King to come.
Like most people though Ilias, Smith, Bullemor and Nanai not going well and not really making cash has been frustrating. And not that many cheap cows around yet.

Watched the games without knowing anything about fantasy thought nanai looked busy - didn’t realise he was racking up demerits like it’s going out of fashion
Fermor doing more of what I expected
Hynes is gonna be a gun/must have soon he’s involved in everything, classy skilful attacking, the dominant player and kicker and the sharkies are gonna have a great season, (needs to improve his goal kicking though)
Big Jason played well didn’t completely translate to fantasy but it was absolutely an improvement from last week, enjoyed him
Penisi is a tackling machine, be good to see him get some ball in hand, preseason the choice was between him and tago and looks like made the wrong one, however I’m expecting a big score soon
Side note every game was absolutely brilliant today, much more enjoyable NRL than last years lopsided comp
Meta point- think hookers, half’s and big minute mids are back on the menu for fantasy,

Also got more of the score I expected from junior Paulo this week- his offloads made up for his lack of involvement- he seemed to be hanging out toward the edge more letting kaufusi and Isiah charge it up
With the over valuing of those offloads I’m gonna hold on to him for sure
