50-60 minute edges are a rarity. Didn't he go off for HIA vs Eels?

All have great floors and huge ceilings with attacking stats

Not sure I'm in a rush to captain one of them over Haas but for those that don't own Haas it's a decent shout

My issue is I have now captained AFif twice for mediocre scores and not sure I can bring myself to remove it to see a try or two try effort and 100 plus score.

Could kill my season if I remain stubborn and this is his new norm though.

Not that many have him but I'll stick with Yeo as cappo.  Should play 80 again with JFH now missing too.

I can't see McInnes and Finu sharing 80 minutes. Whats the point of paying them both big money to play such a small roll.

Nikora or Wilton have to give.

Wilton is a zero-minute edge this week, then he should be back to being an eighty-minute edge, then whenever Graham's back it's 50/50 whether he or Nikora are zero or eighty from then.

McInnes will play edge this week, and Wilton will come off the bench next week.

    That's my prediction.

Was a leg/knee issue, not HIA. But would be correct to say he wasn't subbed for tactical reasons.

They are splitting about 95 minutes between the three already though.

Guess we don't need to worry this week, will know after next week.

Everyone knows Kikau is stand out example. At least half of those are known middle forwards that haven't even been named at 2nd row or in Ipap case 160/160mins Arrow +70 both games this season so not great argument made

There is a trend recently for some players to start on an edge and then move to lock during the game and become part of the middle rotation, so the "edges play 80" loses some of its reliability due to this.
But this does not apply to all players equallly.
Guys like Murray/Arrow for Souths, Gilbert for the Cowboys will rotate into the middle and not get a full game every week.

But of the players you listed, only Kikau is an actual Edge player that regularly gets subbed when starting.

Guys like Matterson, Fifita, iPap, TPJ - when named on the edge - can reliably be expected to play 70+ minutes pretty much every week barring injury.

Wilton is not a guy who will be moved into the middle.

Idk why people are expecting McInnis to replicate his Dragons role and fantasy scoring at Cronulla. He had to play those minutes and have that workrate because everyone he was playing with was shit. He's now in a pack that is not shit and has a lot of depth, it's a big change and the Sharks have no need to flog him. He'll still probably be an underpriced gun in a few weeks but wouldn't expect even close to 2020 scoring.

Then there's the occasional edge/middle like Bullemor who does a stint on the edge then bypasses the middle completely and rotates straight to the bench. #salty
