Pretty sure I tried to talk you out of that. Seemed a bit late for him. Are we late on Leo though??

Yes, you may be right actually. Maybe I was a week late.

I do think if you are gonna Leo, probably has to be this week.

Taupau on the outer apparently and Keppie has been playing like mud. Bullemor is a better option than Keppie for mine. Keppie let in a soft try last week missing tackles too.

Perhaps. To be honest I don't think Manly's forwards have been doing the job. Their play the ball speed has been tragic, not giving DCE and turbo space. DCE's kicks have been noticeably rushed sometimes.

Des won't do this, but with Marty waning they probably need to stop playing Jake 80 and use him as a front row grunt. I'd play Schuster at 13... wouldn't exactly be Radley/Murray type lock, more an old-school Fittler ball-playing loose forward. I'd also probably try to find an actual hooker.

Something to consider also is Manly played the Storm and Roosters week 1 and 2
Most teams would struggle with that opening, and while disappointing based on last year they don't have to play them again for a while

I think we overthink the group think. I listen to more podcasts than I am willing to admit, and frequent facebook groups and other forums (don’t worry NRLFF, you will always be my bottom bitch Beating Heart  ) and everyone is talking about Leo being a buy because he genuinely seems to be a good option since the Klemmer news brought more job security. The difference here is that we are all savvy fantasy pundits who were already on the Mings, Jings and Iago’s (coining this- he is the villain from Shakespear’s Othello as well as Jafar’s parrot in Aladdin, take your fucking pick!). So in a baron cow wasteland, the few viable pickups we don’t have tends to dominate the conversation and soon people start accusing good ideas of being herd mentality. It’s a vicious cycle.

Anyway, I think Leo may be worth it for some teams and not others. When Wilton comes back, I will have Bullemor, Nanai and Tuilagi all competing for one bench spot, and a luxury trade of Bully>Leo leaves me enough cash to straight trade Fifita>Cleary next week, so there are too many upsides for me not to pull the trigger. I certainly wouldnt be wanting to replace a Bullemor or Nanai in my playing 17 with Leo for a measly cash grab though.

We've been quoting Host vs Lawrie for some time.

This one is #Leo vs No Leo, or #Nolo if you will.

Tuilagi to Starling leaves me with 35 trades left and:

    Randall
    Haas M. King J. King
    Fifita Nanai
    Mann Schneider
    Tago Penisini
    Teddy Pap S. Crichton

    Hynes Arrow Starling Grant
    Ilias Bullemor Billy Smith Koula

    Thoughts?

    Lock it in eddie.
Looks good, if in doubt hold

They have Paseka (35) and Walker (45-50) off the bench and Jurbo playing 80. Can't see room for another MID to get minutes.

Turbo to Cleary? Surely since he’s named he plays!
