Now I can mindfuck myself on trades and wish I just kept it at Yeo and May. 😄

Using the app is the issue.

Year after year it struggles to hit basic trade functionality. Have to use the desktop to do anything beyond a simple 1 for 1 trade

Final Roosters teams aren't confirmed until about half time in the Warriors game

Its possible there will be an update/announcement before then, but don't count on it.

So those numbers suggest we're looking at 65.02% active teams, maybe 70% if we're generous and say 1% of Cleary captainers put it on him just in case he did play and there are a few other 0.5% captains here and there that add up.

There's about 82% of teams with a captain. I just don't bother listing all 159 players that have a captaincy percentage above 0.
Unless you are keen to know that more people captain Matt Moylan (.02%) than Beau Fermor (.01%)

Trying to decide whether to prioritize getting Starling in (for Clark): TU

    OR

Getting A.Chricton out (for Yeo): TD

    Thoughts?

Mann would have to be one of the most regretted trade outs on a regular basis the last few seasons.

In the right role, he always ends up scoring well.
    HOK > 60 mins average 59
    Halfback > 60 mins average 47
    Five eighth > 60 mins average 46

The only reason he is so cheap, is that he played CTR most of last season.

60+ minute lock is a great role for him and once through niggling injuries, he will start putting up good scores. Even when playing injured, we are seeing his base of around 30 tackles and 70 running meters for 37 points, when taking it easy.

I expect him to be a real regret for many when he averages ~ 50 for the rest of the season.

Just listened to Rickys captains run media:

    - Said Frawley has been training all preseason as a "utility" so is well prepared to play 9
    - Ricky on starling "It's back to 2020 when he started alot of games and played alot more minutes then what he was used to, but fortunately for us he's got the ability to do that"

Question is at 4:25 for those that are interested

most coaches will say things like this as they will always want to back their listed squad, and build experience for everyone in slightly different roles.

every team mixes up players in pre season so guys get a bit of time in different spots. hard to say how much time frawley would have actually gotten at 'hooker' in pre-season, as hodgson and starling would have had most of that time in opposed sessions/etc.

There's a new rule where every player must say their name when touching the ball and must complete their name before passing the ball.

Which team succeeds and which team struggles?

I think Storm look alright - Grant, Munster and Hughes can be rattled off quickly.

Knights forum posted Wednesday on Mann:
The poster said "Kurt came into work today, said he had a really bad cork but should be good to go."

I think he plays so keeping him.

Actually looking at Starlings hooking starting and playing over 50 minutes his average is 55.

Yeah I feel swayed. Bully out Starling in.

I know I have to trade Bully today or next round anyway, and at least Starling has job security.

    Nice one toast!

It'll be critical to have the frequent ball-touchers (heheh) have short names, so the Rabbits are looking good with Cook, Ilias, Walker. Ball-playing locks likewise (Murray, Arrow). Koloamatangi will struggle, may have to just run hitups.

Manly are bang in trouble. Trbojevic's aren't great, Cherry-Evans worse. Olakau'atu is wasted as a hitup merchant.

The Dragons will also struggle, not because of the name thing but because they aren't very good at football.

Wacko: Expect to see a change for Tigers tonight with Ken Maumalo set to be ruled out which will see Starford To'a move to wing and Luke Garner to play centre
