NRL Fantasy 2022 Part 19 - Do something Fifita!!!

Posted a bit in the past but not really posted this year, been busy as set up my own business but have been checking in with the forum when I can to have a quick read.

Think I need to be busy every year, had my best ever start! 986 score this week for an overall rank of 49. Never been this high before. Will try and post more if I can but can be difficult with UK tike difference and often watching the games on delay.

Gonna kick off a looooong week of Clearyposting here, how's everyone feeling about bringing him in?

Right now I think I'll do it with 3 trades over 2 weeks, I'm in a pretty steady position so don't need to tear my team to shreds. If I was doing worse I'd probably roll the dice. According to King MTB he'll lose 86k with a 65 3RA, 64k with 70, 41k with 75 so I feel like "waiting for his price to drop" is just missing out on points

Won't be able to afford Cleary this round so will have to find a cheapie or two to keep building that fund.

Aside from Bullemor, my 17 is performing well enough but my 18-21 are making no cash and providing no security if I have someone out.

This week I traded Crichton and Amone for Thompson and Starling, laying a platform for Mahoney --> Cleary this week. I don't think anything can talk me out of it. Not waiting a week on the player of the generation. I cannot be trusted with my captain choices (Went Mahoney, Fifita, Fifita, which lost me like 50 points instead of just going Haas each week)

Nah, issue wasn't Albert. It was the soft defence and poor first two carries - Niu and Cobbo.

It didn't help that Arey muffed a 40/20 followed by a dodgy line drop-out. Then Staggs made a bunch of errors, then Cobbo and Niu joined in the error fest as well.

917 just about haves my rank! Just outside the top 20k! Thankfully doing much much better in SC. Still, two weeks ago I was about 60k!

Leaving Cleary, don’t have the cash or anyone to trade until my cashies ripen. Willing the Fantasy Gods that Ivan eases him in from the bench for a 40 and I don’t have to think about him for a few weeks (though I will probably still watch Panthers games from behind the couch).

Rough trot for Coen Hess. Who would take his vacant prop position? Cotter also looked good, but I wonder if his points were inflated from not bringing Lolo back on.
