don't see the harm in waiting 1 week for Cleary just to see how the new rules and coming back from an injury effect his score... worst case scenario he scores 100 and you buy him next week for the same $$... best case is he drops a lower score and u get him abit cheaper... dont see any reason to rush it.

I feel the same, but my Rd1 and 2's were so shit I would love to take a punt on a captain cleary slingshot up the ranks this weekend..... Much pondering to be done

how many injuries does Reynolds get a season, Albert isn't a spring chicken and the utility role could see him cover half/hooker if someone gets injured mid game.

Walters is the last guy i am flicking at this early stage 0 Broncos results might mean Albert gets parked up. Sure there is also Gamble, but I think Walters is first cab off the rank.

Atm trades are looking like.

Crichton > Gilbert
Bully > Brody

Leaves plenty in the kitty to grab Cleary next week

I could do Angus + Martin > Cleary + 220k

Otherwise I'd just do Angus + Bully > Starling + Jones and kick the Cleary can down the road.

This has always been my plan. I’ve got $477K in the Cleary funds, so I should be able to only make that the one trade next week, but I’ve this feeling that something is gonna happen this round that forces me to use the 2nd.

This is my thoughts exactly,

In theory if the top teams have successful sides they might not wish to make changes getting an early jump on cleary could do wonders to ranking

I should, his previous two rounds were very close to what was wanted. It's more 'the search', for someone to ladder up to Cleary. I do have 250k so a double trade does it easy this round.

There is Hudson, Debellin in the same ballpark though.
