Thinking it is a waste of a trade but netting over 100k for potentially similar scores is attractive.

'they' say a trade is worth 100k, so sideways, so you must decide is he a keeper, or are you trying to generate cash?

What was Cleary's captaincy % last week, if you remember? Was something like 5% from memory, right?

Interesting to see how many of those are dead teams, and how many are actually captaining him.

Was 4%, so pretty much everyone who traded him in has captained him (as you'd expect) and looks like a few people were holding him in NPRs but have now chucked the armband on

    Haas has dropped 6% captaincy
    Hynes has gained 7%
    Trbo dropped nearly 2%

Grant doesn't look fit enough for 80 minutes. Ran out of steam in the last 20 minutes when starting.

I am really surprised that they would look at anything other than what worked so well for them last season.

If he does get 80 minutes this week and starts next week, I will be bringing him in for sure. Will be an undervalued gun and just owned by 8% of teams. Happy to miss Cleary to pick up other opportunities like this.

People forget he is recovering from covid, it's not the flu. I would be careful pouring all my faith into Grant short-term, but he is a long term keeper for sure.

Guess it also depends how many teams are serious (ie playing overall), and how many of those serious teams are getting Cleary this week.

Of top 10,000 teams, 52 had cleary at end of round 3. Of top 20,000 teams, 292.

I know I have been talking up Hynes as Capt, but I am now starting to think if I pulled the trigger on Cleary, I go all-in and put the C on him too.

BE is 51? Averaged 45 last year with 60min at lock and still priced at that. Not a keeper so you'll be trading him back out again at some stage.
Role hasn't changed? Not expected to get more minutes? Injury history isn't great nor is his disciplinary record.

I just don't see the upside.

Noted….back to the drawing board. Just on his BE though, not sure if I am missing something but N Browns BE is 39…..where did you see 51?

Also Dobbo seems to think Paix may be a late inclusion

Hmm, was trading staggs out in SC.... What to do... What to do...

Probably the only week he's going to be anything even resembling a POD, so hoping he can gun it from the off since I got him in.

    Cleary's historical 1st round scores:

    2017: 33 points vs Dragons
    2018: 69 points vs Eels
    2019: 49 points vs Eels
    2020: 68 points vs Roosters
    2021: 96 points vs Cowboys
    2022: ?? points vs Rabbitohs

    Milchy's BE's = 39
    MTB's site = 44
MTB's site if you put in predicted score = 51

Honestly no idea which of these will be closest to the mark but Milchy or MTB may be able to shed some light. I imagine it's already been discussed at length somewhere.

Gut feel is that 39 seems too low - if he scores that this week then he's averaged 40 across the first three rounds.

    I’m captaining Fifita.

Just trying to decide still whether I play Penisini or Billy Smith and M. King or Jones I keep going back and forth.

Ikavalu on that right wing for Roosters did avg 81 in games against the Cowboys though so that has me tempted to play Billy Smith.

As it appears scores are generally in line with 2020, i'll take a 68, i think he is 55-85 range, obviously the higher the better.

Any idea on what he scores at prop? I have not looked at JoKing all season (my mistake).

After a stat hunt that will be an avoid from me. I am too late and I am not sold on his job security/minutes from here on out, I missed the boat.
