No idea how to get Cleary.

Should be a very good score this week. Cleary can wait another week!

Annoying that the week I sell Lolo is the week he plays big minutes and scores 71. That's fantasy I guess.

Didn't see the game, were there injuries that facilitated it, or was he back to his best?

Don't regret it too much to get Cleary, but still a pain.

    Walters interesting now

Regret not starting with. Made 100k already. 14pts in 59 mins not encouraging though

No regrets in this instance, you can't forecast injuries and the Broncs Halves were a shit show prior to Round 1.

I don't have him, and he has been rocks and diamonds, but he should average okay in a settled position.  40 would be a good outcome and not out of the question.  Will be over 30% ownership this coming week so not a lot of risk picking him up at that price.

Cotter looks interesting. Benefited last week with Hess injury, reckon he benefited again with all the sin bins?

If he’s a nailed on 55-60 minute middle then he’s a good buy

There were 3 Cowboys Sin Bins so minutes probably skewed and I think Tom Gilbert Grape got hooked.  Hammer injured as well but that was pretty late so may not have played a part.

He had 3 Offloads To Hand and a Turnover tackle.  Also one of his highest ever tackle counts ever in his 200 odd games.  Conversely his least run metres this Season.

Actually glad those who have him got a return this week, but personally think all things being equal he is back to mid 40's points wise next week.

I was aware that at some point this season he was going to have a decent game, just didn't want him averaging 40 until that happened eventually. Going big the week that I finally traded him out after dealing with all of his crap scoring is pretty brutal.

I'm 100% certain this happens when I trade out Fifita.

Anyway, been a big day and just finished game three of the triple header so some thoughts as I glance over the scoring from the day that was-

Haas - I always captain my highest averaging player, no questions asked, and Hynes was that guy this week. Next week it'll be Haas, and so the roulette continues. It'll be amusing (to others but not I) if they keep alternating big scores opposite to when I captan them each.

Tevaga - sneaky little fucker seems to come into the equation every year. No way you'd take the punt with the uncertainty of one game, and with Tohu's return happening some time in 2022 too, but he loves popping up as a possibility. Any big reason for the reshuffle today, or a genuine possibility into the future?

Arthars (50) - not the kind of trade I broadcast from the rooftops, but I brought him in last week and played his 20 over Billy Smith's 40. Accordingly he (and Smith) were in my NPR this week. Just hoping MKing is a late out, personally, as he's next in line if so.

Walters - don't understand that score and his effort today, based on his PPM so far this year. Just didn't look like he wanted to be part of the game he was involved in. On one hand I'm happy I own him with the possible opportunity ahead, but coach's son or not, did that "performance" today propel Gamble back into the more likely replacement for Kelly?

DCE - I will need to upgrade my halves soon and I find myself wondering if the price tag for DCE compared to Cleary might not be genuine cause for consideration. Not only because Cleary just scored 44, but I do wonder if the gap between these two is going to be as significant this year as it was last year.

Davey - is Schuster still a concrete R6 return? Always liked the cut of Davey's jib and would really enjoy a piece of that action, but Schuster will destroy it, yes?

Robson/Egan - like the Haas/Hynes thing in my Fantasy team, I have these two fuckers in either one or both my Draft teams, and I keep playing the wrong one. Fuck. Like clockwork, I've been picking the guy who scores less each week, lol. But no laughter.

Dearden - striking me as not a half bad option in the halves. Maybe a couple of phantom scores, perhaps, but I wish he was a little cheaper for a cheeky stab at it.

Cotter - awkward price, but looking like a pretty decent downgrade option for Fifita. If I choose not to prioritise Cleary (or DCE?) cash...

A.Crichton - wow, impressive PPM, if nothing else.

Billy Smith - saved this for last, but what's the score here? Just saw footage in Roosters dressing room of the poor bastard in a dark corner looking like the dude who can't maintain an erection in a gangbang, not that I've ever watched one, just heard about it from friends... well, not even friends but acquaintances... so he obviously don't have covid, so he was just plain and simply dropped for allegedly being too shit? This is sad as an owner, if the case. No niggling injury or anything? Haven't seen or read anything about it.

And that's about it. Sorry for the mega post and hopefully for anyone who glanced at it you tuned out after the first line, but I thought I'd just post my live thoughts as I read through the scores after catching up on the games.

As for why I missed the games live (separate to the usual looking after the kids etc, who were actually out for the night) if you have bushland around you, get your eyeballs on some Sydney Red Gums during the twilight glow. What a magnificent spectacle. Still on a high from my twilight trek though local bushland, but did enjoy the footy and 16 beers on return (not truly 16, but a few and by christ I love these Nomad Budgy Smuggler Pale Ales).

Dont really know if sin bins would affect their rotations too much. It probably meant Neame got more mins at the end of the game because he had a nice little breather

They had to use a change on htf late, but that was just robson coming back on. If he was to come back on anyway it would have just been for granville instead.

Maybe if HTF doesnt get hurt then robson doesnt actually return.

No injuries to mids this game

Why don’t kids understand how daylight savings works? Looks like last week was an anomaly as the bad scores return. I have made up another 4000 places as my charge from 60000 continues. I lost 10000 places alone  after the Brisbane game. Not owning Haas looks like a terrible idea.

Jack Bird is playing 6 this week, with Mbye at fullback. Both due to young players dropped with poor form.

Amone might have survived in a stronger team. Rookie halves need protection.

Not having Haas is a right pain in the Haas.
But, do I want to spend 2 trades (Lolo & Clifford/Moses) @ $600k each to get the big lad in?
Might have to wait until my cows fatten up a little.
I can't see his price changing much now.
