So he graduates to the Tigers, by the time they’ve deemed him too small, the eagle eyes of the Storm are locked in on yet another unheralded talent. Away from football, he’s quiet, and pretty much keeps to himself. But it’s at training, where the competitor inside him, begins to stir. This is where he goes from introvert to loud leader, showing the way. (PAPENHUYZEN, HE’S ELECTRIC!!!) And when he goes out to play, EVERYONE can see his gifts. But what’s even more amazing, is the toughness reserved for the games elite. (THEY WON’T CATCH HIM!!!) That magical Bronco Steve Renouf had it. Off the field, the pearl was quiet, wouldn’t hurt a fly. But out there in the middle, he played as tough as anyone, anywhere. (THERE WE GO, THERE’S THE HAT TRICK) Papenhuyzen could work the edges, like most little guys do. But instead, hunts for opportunity amongst the Lions, where the big boppers defend. Hitting the line in a way that’s either going to bust it.. (THERE’S PAPENHUYZEN!!!) or here you go.. BUST HIMSELF (OOOHHH THERE’S A SHOT!!!). But when you do this time after time, without losing your nerve, that’s tough, that’s Ryan Papenhuyzen
