Thanks mate.  Pretty solid without the big man in my side too.  I'm guessing your score was around that too?

Ah yep 938. Up about a hundred to 234th.

I saw a lot of Burton hate, 40 in what appears to be an absolute drubbing, was it really that bad? Normally happy with a 40 from my centres and won't play the Storm every week. Might have to go back and watch, if nothing else for the Pappy tries. Actually if considering for Cleary cash, I'll definitely have to watch it.

Bold call to say 2022 doesn’t care about what you did in 2021? Too many changes in the points and the game rules?

DCE is averaging 64 so far which is more or less where I personally had him pinned this season when factoring in points/rule changes and that was part of my justification to get Cleary this week (who I have pegged in the 70-75 range)

Cleary got 44, which includes an anomaly of 6 missed tackles (18 point turnaround if he makes those, 62 is a lot better looking than 44), he was probably not as busy defensively as usual due to his shoulder and his running involvement seemed down too. Once he warms back into things the points will come. Fuck, if he jagged a junk try you and I aren't even having this conversation, we're both sitting back laughing at everyone else squabbling about how to bring him in.

You've brought him in, everyone else will too, you've now got extra time to bring in your next gun that everyone else doesn't have. Once he gets more trust in his shoulder he'll get the points, trust the process.

Updated to 44. Makes it quite difficult to trade out now.

I agree but Panthers and Rabbitohs next so do we sit or jump on similar priced asset, or even more expensive, with amazing fixtures or hold. I will be thinking about this all week

I really want to buy him once his draw gets better, right now it's a horror show, he's got Penrith, Souths, Broncos and Roosters in the next 4

I got an even 800, although it will update with Papy increase (same as everyone else). I dropped a few thousand places.

Lost a head to head to the other guy who had Penis. In other words, I got shafted!

Thinking of spending my Cleary money on Haas, although I probably have bigger issues to deal with.

These make me feel better. Gained ranks with every point Hunt scored, it's just a pity he didn't score many. Got slaughtered in most of h2hs this week

No one knows where the mullet came from, but Ryan Papenhuyzen himself, came from Kellyville. A lot of Sydney’s born here in the North-West, and the lucky few, get to go to Oakhill college. Kids like this rooster, Luke Keary, and yes, Ryan Papenhuyzen. So he graduates to the Tigers, by the time they’ve deemed him too small, the eagle eyes of the Storm are locked in on yet another unheralded talent. Away from football, he’s quiet, and pretty much keeps to himself. But it’s at training, where the competitor inside him, begins to stir. This is where he goes from introvert to loud leader, showing the way. (PAPENHUYZEN, HE’S ELECTRIC!!!) And when he goes out to play, EVERYONE can see his gifts. But what’s even more amazing, is the toughness reserved for the games elite. (THEY WON’T CATCH HIM!!!) That magical Bronco Steve Renouf had it. Off the field, the pearl was quiet, wouldn’t hurt a fly. But out there in the middle, he played as tough as anyone, anywhere. (THERE WE GO, THERE’S THE HAT TRICK) Papenhuyzen could work the edges, like most little guys do. But instead, hunts for opportunity amongst the Lions, where the big boppers defend. Hitting the line in a way that’s either going to bust it.. (THERE’S PAPENHUYZEN!!!) or here you go.. BUST HIMSELF (OOOHHH THERE’S A SHOT!!!). But when you do this time after time, without losing your nerve, that’s tough, that’s Ryan Papenhuyzen

Dont see how you get a better option tbh. Just burning a trade to go sideways. Hes had shocker games and still avging 44.

hmm I reckon if you started with Burton you did it because he's an end of year ctr keeper

if you didn't start with Burton you did that because of his horror draw early, but you targeted him as someone you could bring in as a round 13 captain option and keeper

Starting with him, trading him out to avoid the storm (no pun) then trading him back in feels like trying to get the best of both worlds for the price of 2 trades to me. If there's tangible upside though don't let me stop you

I got excited that I might crack 900 with the big Papy update
But then the Kings got downdates so it's business as usual and the score basically stays the same haha

I didn’t get him but I can’t believe how quickly people have gone cold on him. Saw nothing in that game that still doesn’t make me think he’s the best fantasy scorer and perma captain going forward.

But we’ve got buy DBrown instead, buy Cook instead, buy Moses instead, and so on. How about we just buy someone based on a little more than last weeks score?

If I have two trade outs that make some sense and a cash cow available that allows it, I’ll be getting Cleary pretty quickly.
