Not who you are responded too, but I wouldn't trade out Cleary or Burton if I held them

I have neither but I'll be looking to trade both of them in over the next month or so.

Ipap - 100k more expensive but no doubt a keeper. If cash wasn't a concern this would be the no brainer pick
Curran - Similar price range and firmly on the radar. Closing in on the time where job security is a concern with Tohu due back in a few weeks
Wilton - Job security a concern with both Graham due back and Talakai performing better
Frizell - Proven over many years to be just below keeper level. Origin certainty. Started strong last year before tappering off as well
Fermor - Unsustainable try scoring streak. Base similar to 2021 starts but front loaded the tries
Tago - Is a centre averaging 1 try and 1 turnover per game. Inflated tackle count first 2 weeks
TPJ - On the radar for ~50k less
Arrow - Looks closer to a 40 point guy than 50 point guy with minutes decreasing last 2 weeks
Butcher - Temporary starter with fantasy pedigree. If he holds the spot I might regret not taking the risk
CHN - Many years of history show he is a below 50 scorer at EDG
Nikora - Slight increase in base but not enough to warrant keeper territory
Hudson Young - Proven fantasy scorer when starting. Whitehead move to middle might make him live up to potential. Too much of a gamble for me but wouldn't be surprised if he was top 5 end of season
Fifita - Career average of 60 as a starting second rower. Boosted by lots of tries last season but has averaged mid to high 50s every other year

Some other guys might have been better than Fifita to start the year but moving forward they are either too expensive (Ipap), have poor job security (Wilton, Butcher) or have proven not to score as well (Frizell, Fermor, CHN, Nikora). Only others in contention IMO are Curran, TPJ and Hudson Young for those that like a punt

They're not suggesting that. It's just that Cleary might not be an urgent trade to tear your team apart for when he probably stands to lose a decent amount of cash.

Just on Arrow keep in mind that he did play 20mins at centre last week, if he just stayed in middle he probs scores 55 I don’t think he’s a sell yet. We have an easier run coming too could be good for his scoring. I think he’s a hold another week.

It's tricky with Cleary, I tend to just want to get him in this week for peace of mind. Could definitely wait for him to ideally lose more cash but he could of course go huge this week also. Not sure I want to take the risk waiting

Feel like it's reactionary in the extreme to want to get rid of DiFi this early. Hasn't even crossed my mind. He'll come right, always has these little runs in him.

In 2019, his first 4 starts in the second row saw scores of: 43, 49, 36, 59. 4-round average of 46.75, went on to average 57.

In 2020, he had a 4 game stretch of 65, 48, 41, 30. 4 round average of 46, still averaged 55 for the year.

Last year, he had a 4 game stretch of 43, 69, 26, and 30. 4-round average of 42, still averaged 66.6 for the year.

Currently has a 4-round average of 46, history suggests he'll score a few tries and end up averaging mid 50s at least. Patience.

Yeah, Fifita is almost certainly a hold at this point.
I'm not sure he's a buy just yet.

If he say drops down to about $720k, that probably puts him priced at a mid 50's average, which is what he has averaged in 2 of the last 3 years.

Maybe, he'll bounce back to last years numbers, or maybe the rule tweaks are allowing teams to be more organised around their oppositions key attacking targets (e.g. Fifita, Turbo).

As the game starts to open up more, those key guys likely become more fantasy relevant.
