I am waiting for him to show he can play two halves. Bloke always seems to punch out a 30 points first half, then somehow finishes on 38 points for the game. Could coincide with Tigers fading from games, but bloke looks like another Lucy Leilua.

If he can stay on the field for 80 minutes then absolutely, he's an absolute gun in waiting and one of only two Tigers players who even looked like troubling the defence last week (Lucy being the other one).
I may be biased for him though since he's a Victorian superstar, played for the Casey Warriors in the Melbourne Rugby League comp and then the Victorian Thunderbolts junior rep side.

The edge who's played 70 once and injured twice in 4 games, missing one? No

Just realised I was trying to set up a 'looksee' with Jones and Thompson........idiot
Just for the record, unless you are taking a calculated risk to get Cleary I think the amount of injury, minutes, selection, suspension smoke around this week (Koula, Haas, Billy Smith, Hetherington etc etc) makes it a good week to have a look and see how it all plays out
My bets are
Garrick goes alright at FB and Koula gets a run next week but on the wing
Haas maybe gets a game out but not this week
Hetherington doesn't get Carrigans minutes
Billy Smith has a long rest
TPG scores up/down/up/down
Burton goes well enough to hold
Sexton goes well enough to hold
Moale gets 15
Cotter and Lolo get the same minutes and the same score
Flanagan gets blamed for the Bulldogs getting slaughtered
Jing score 32
I start the weekend with some decent scores and things go gradually downhill from there

Had a good chuckle over the Haas suspension saga after seeing the backlash Matt got in the days prior. That's gotta be the biggest I told you so moments in the forums history.
Just for a laugh, what are some other moments like this in years gone by that you can think of?

Schneider, Jones, Tuilagi, Thompson, Coates, Ilias, Vailea, Bully
That's the order I have it in at the moment. Could also loop Thompson and Coates/Ilias, but there's always a risk Vailea is a late in.
You’ll probably have quite a good idea about Vailea before kickoff tonight with the Warriors on early game Friday in terms of whether to set up the loop

Vailea is named for Redcliffe in Q CUP - not definite confirmation, but usually a solid indicator.

Wow all that fuss for the wham bam I told you so moment of 1-2 weeks suspension. Big deal.
The bigger issue is consistency, Tedesco copped 0 weeks for being a racist for instance.

So Haas is looking at a 2 week suspension starting this week. No news on May?

I hope so and would love to have both also..!
Currently have none, with one coming in for fifi this week but just can’t decide is Haas is too much a risk.
The amount they’ll make or lose is marginal anyways given they’ll both be back on eventually
Apologies for the backtrack. Just catching up.
And herein lies the dilemma for people that own neither of them.
Leaning towards Cleary cos its scary watching him when you dont own him and also Im assuming many of the teams above me are holding out which means he is a bit of a POD at the mo and the points bump would be useful. Againest the Dogs he could do anything. Also buys time to see what's happening with Haas.

It doesn't look like the (likely?) suspension will take effect until next week.

Who is the better option between Brodie Jones and Billy Walters?
I see above Jones should be making his way towards 80

MS vs Fifita's 17 tries
MS vs Rabbits don't make the 8

Not condoning racism in the slightest and yes what he said was bad.
But I reckon what was worse was the way they effectively gas lit the poor girl and made her out to be a liar after their "thorough investigation" in which they cleared him of any wrong doing, only for him to then admit it later.
Both the Roosters and Tedesco should have definitely copped more from the whole thing than they did.

Have had TPJ since I saw he was the #1 offloader last year. Last week he played 70 mins. Started in 2RF, played the first 45/55 I think? Was off for 10 mins, seemed like h either switched to the other side, or played #13, couldn't really tell.
Weeks before he was playing 50 mins, so sounds like they were slowly building him up.
He was playing MID in the earlier rounds. Much prefer him as big minute EDG

Yeah but he is a role model though right? (cynicism).

Yeah I reckon the issue is the coverup. They just PR’d it away.
Although given Reece Walsh and Warriors showed genuine remorse and contrition and copped the same punishment as the “that white powder could be anything” crew at the Storm, I can see the appeal of denying everything.
