Rd 5 Trades (part 2)

We were going to trade Clark + Sexton to Koula + Fifita

Koula isn't playing so do we go for him anyway?
If we want Cleary but no Koula we have $272k to spend after Clark + Sexton to Cleary + ?
Davvy Moale is a possibility, otherwise maybe Croker?

Or we can get Cleary by dumping Fifita

Anyone else worth trading in?
Depending on results of this poll, will put another one up tomorrow to sort out final decision.

Go without a gun and trade Cleary in next round once we've built some more bank and he's potentially dropped another $25k.

Can't remember who's in the squad but if we don't have Tuilagi or Walters I'd be keen to get them in for Clark and anyone else we want to get rid of.

I went with do nothing this week.

The guys under 272k for Sexton and Clark out don't give me much confidence. Piss poor minutes for the forwards. Naden sucks and Tuipulotu not much job security.

I think Fifita will be a trade-in target soon, so don't want to cut him still.

I wasn't keen on May anyway at 400k for a winger and the latest news adds some risk.

Walters caught my eye at 347k. Average of 40 could make 200k, but not sure I trust Broncos halves..

Wouldn't go for another gun. Grab Cleary next round. Clark to Walters, otherwise do nothing.

I wouldn’t be too put off by the Koula injury news. It sounds like they’re just being cautious. He should still get plenty of opportunity to make cash.
If you thought he was good enough to bring in prior to this news, do it anyway.

It seems more people want Cleary than want to wait, although its pretty close either way.

At the least, I think Clark has to go. He's barely playable in the 17.
We have options of Walters or Tuilagi. Either one gains us $100k+ and arguably another 10+ points this week.

Clark has to go at some stage, we have a backup hooker. I don't see the logic in holding him another week.

Sexton's not far off the same but at least we know he has big scores in him however a BE in the 50s which he's only hit once this year + AJ taking some kms off him means we'll probably get a score in the 30s/40s and a cash loss from him this week.

I think a 35-40 average isn't unreasonable based on past stats. Could make somewhere between 143k and 213k if managing that.

Sixteen games total for 30 (including some garbage min games)
Eleven 30 min+ games for 34.5
Six games at 5/8 for 42.3

My main concern is Gamble or whoever else Kevvie might throw in there.

I agree with this line of thinking. A week can be a long time and lots can change but I don't think its a huge risk to still get Koula in this week.

I voted do nothing. My 2nd choice would be stick with Cleary/Koula plan.

The "in between options" are too much of a compromise IMO.
