I’m having a bad round 6/234 have had Mann, Jones, Randall, Haas, Nanai and Teddy so far.

C Cleary and Grant please save my round. Used all my bank to get Cleary to only 3k spare now.

What’d you guys reckon play Schneider v Storm or Ilias v Dragons?

I’m playing schnieder. Illias seems under cooked and I hope he doesn’t crumble but walker ain’t doing enough to lift the pressure off him

Yeah that's the breakfast news I was hoping for, Capt Safety.

How come some sold Aitken ? Along with the Burton sell chatter, I thought people started with those 2 as locked in set and forget centres for 40 to 50 a week.

I think for those that started with both, the emergence of Tago as a keeper centre made the second expensive centre superfluous and an obvious route to Cleary.

To be fair to others who sold Aitken as a route to Cleary, I was also earmarking him or Fermor as stepping stones to Cleary and for the reasons you outline Pooky.

I am hoping like hell, Cleary gradually improves (yeah right), so that I can convert a couple of cash cows in the form of Randall/Mann/May/Nanai et al in a few rounds and bring him at about 900k.

But yeah we all know Cleary will banner sooner rather than later, so that is just bloody wishful thinking on my part.

I don't blame anyone for jumping on Cleary this round, kudos to you all, I am jealous, and now trying to work out how to get him in without selling guys like Aitken/Burton/Tedesco.

I didn't even have the route to Cleary excuse, but with Tago/May/Crichton, Aitken looked like a guy performing his value who was technically a hold but was expendable while others were making money faster, and with centre looking an easier position than usual this year. Trading him a bad decision in retrospect but he never *looked* like cracking an 80.

Exactly mate, noone could see that coming to be fair,
I just got lucky I had a gap at WFB and that took priority over getting Cleary this round.

I think the other thing is no-one started him with the hope he'd keep hitting 40's

That'd be fine if he was a Centre playing Centre, but as a 2nd rower scoring three 40's against the Tigers (incl a try), Broncos & Titans - owners probably were hoping for a bit more (especially given his end of year form).

That and he didn't let everyone know he was about to bust out an 80 pointer

Scrit plenty of cash left in him and Teddy going the other way. Never a bad time to bring in a keeper but this one feels about 3 weeks early

4 games might be a little early to be claiming keeper from a pure centre

I think most people watching Tago can see he is keeper level with his hard running, involvement and the team he plays for.

Tago looks good but he'll have quiet games. Thats just the position he plays.

When Bradman Best first started the year at centre im prettys ure he had a string of big scores.

    They always tail off

Can I just hope for a banner from Cleary to offset not having a second centre?

Knights vs Panthers, but statistically hard for pure CTR to average 50 all season, even 45. But he will be one of the last cashies I sell, if I do.

Also 4 tries in 4 games, even if you're playing for the Panthers it's extremely unlikely a Centre maintains that try scoring rate.

A long time before he's a locked in Centre keeper for mine.
