Done some digging and Moses did get banned for 2 weeks in 2014 for calling an opponent a "fucking gay cunt". Not sure whether Montoya's is better or worse - times have moved on a bit since then and it's probably taken a bit more seriously now.

Zak Hardaker got banned for five games in Super League for shouting out "fucking f*g" at a (openly gay) opponent.

765 for the round, down to 6150 rank, due to Cleary C fading in the shadow of Haas express.
Also, stupidly stuffing up the loop and copping Leo's 26, while Schniitzel's 44 is on the NPR bench.

So you're fine with people accusing you of something, then when you ask them to show you any sort of evidence of the "crime", they don't?

Selling two fit keepers you started with for bottomed out prices just sounds like rookie mistakes to me. You're burning trades going sideways for possibly small net gains, when those trades can be worth 50-100 points later in the season rather than playing with 15 or 16, which is gonna happen like it has in previous seasons with 21 man squads.

Teddy's averaged 60 the last three seasons and 7 TBs a game for pretty much his whole career. The nerf should put him around 53, but offloads to hand and ingoal escapes could offset some. Priced just under 46 after this week.

Who are the cheapie WFBs that are matching and beating that on a consistent basis? Arthars? Mulitalo? Scritta's not that cheap anymore and could regress back to his previous 36 average.

Fifita was not bottomed out when I sold him, and Teddy is still not bottomed out yet. He will bottom out right when I was originally planning to sell him (Round 10). I intend to sell him to DCE who has averaged more than 20 points better than him.

My plan for WFBs:

* I have Hynes and Papy, and Critta will be the 3rd WFB until I sell him.

* May will get dual after next week, and he will be an easy play until he gets forced out by either To'o's return or his court date if anything comes of that.

* Billy Smith almost certainly gets dual if he's back in the team in the next 2 weeks (and I think it's likely, Naiqama sucks)

* If Koula gets named this week, then he will be the player I buy as my cash down to sell Teddy to DCE, so there's another WFB.

Nobody has a full team of guns, everyone has to play cheapies somewhere, and I plan to play cheapies in the position in which there are the fewest guns, which is WFB and CTR at the moment.
I will only need to play one or two of these cheapies each week, and will be looping them where possible.

Have been refraining from posting this kind of pointless crap, but a few thoughts in my head after the weekend-

Traded Fifita/Clifford to May/Talakai. It is what is. Will make good money, and only lost out on 15 points or so due to Fifita doing exactly what I'd have bet money he'd do the moment I sold him. I don't know if it's because I'd braced myself for it or not, but I didn't regret my decision. As others have suggested, it's very likely he reverts back to 40's for a few weeks before undoubtedly busting out another big score. He'll do that, and it's cool for owners, but those type of players just aren't for me. Sure, there's hundreds of other players that you could say the same thing about, but I'm happy to depart from that ride at the prices involved.

May's scoring is a thing of wonder - scored more or less the same three weeks in a row, but with three tries, then two and now one... but same score, more or less. Apologies, I'm sure someone's mentioned that already, but it's intriguing.

Talakai, to be honest, scored quite a bit better this week than I thought he would, so that's a plus. 100% completely aware that he's a massive gamble, but one I'm willing to wear no matter which way it goes.

Elsewhere, agitated that Burton lost goal kicking to Flanagan. The ways Dogs have been going it's not a massive issue, but I still don't think they're a bad team and I'm sure wins will come this season, and it's a bummer to lose those easy points.

Fullbacks and Crichton, I guess was another issue from the weekend. Some horrendous scores from prominent fullbacks, but no wild decisions on those guys coming from me. I'll ride it out and hope for better days. I guess Crichton becomes a minor issue, depending on his BE this week. Mostly for the fact that they just ignored his side for 90% of the evening, which could be a concern going forward.

And I guess the other thing is Cleary. I'm sure there's been pages of stuff about him, but just haven't had a chance to read through stuff today. He's obviously got to come in at some point, and timing with Origin could get real awkward, but I find myself thinking that riding out his price drops is the best way to approach him, if you have solid scorers in the mean time (which I do not). Because as it stands, seems like you're paying a tonne of cash for someone who will be essential, but seeming pretty unlikely to hold anywhere near his price point at the moment. He busts over for a couple of tries on the few darts he threw in the mix tonight and it could be a different story, and maybe it's coming... but I'm definitely favouring holding out, if I can.

And that's about it. Apologies for the words. Just sitting here on the tins with nowhere else but here to drop some thoughts on Fantasy, to there it is.

I thought Flanagan played ok in that game, Bulldogs looked alright aside from Dufty having a shocker.
