IPap does look good though. Want both, but always hard to pick the right week. Who would you rather captain this week between the two I guess. I like getting Cleary now and worry about the rest later.

I can get Ipap in 1 trade for Clifford now but requires shifting Hynes into WFB and starting Koula at WFB or bringing Ilias into halves with Schnieder

Alternatively I just go Clifford - DCE which seems positionally wiser

Feel like gut calls on DCE or IPap over Cleary. Maybe small amount of value if they're priced just unders. Maybe Cleary falls back to average in the 60s and is slightly over. Still feel he can be the best captaincy pick though.

I think I'd prefer Ilias over Koula.. just by default because of position and opposition with both being rookies. Wouldn't be surprised if Koula jagged something though.. Any loops possible?

It actually highlights a point that I think is sometimes lost or understated.

Often it seems prudent to wait a week before taking the plunge on a player - you get a bit more information which reduces the risk of buying a dud.

But, waiting a week (or two) obviously changes the price entry point, which often reduces the earnings ceiling and in doing so increases the risk of it becoming a poor trade (whereas getting in early may have given enough extra cash to make the same trade an adequate trade).
There's always something to be said for getting ahead of the game.
