I hope he gets it, but it would be very unusual.
I’m surprised at the lack of missed tackles for him.
It’s very subjective as he often just releases in the tackle before it’s complete, but that often gets given as a missed tackle.

I thought he picked it up before the line? Admittedly only saw it once. Anyway, not a massive deal in the scheme of things, and as you say there could also have been subjective calls that benefitted him this week.

I don't understand why it's even a competition. I was around for both. You're the voice, is awesome. Horses sucks.

I have to admit, I'm an arm waiver for Sweet Caroline: bamp, bamp, bawwmm.

And what's with the xrated goose porn? Fucking sickos.

Ok, you don't get them any more "in the act of scoring" when you fall over the line with a defender holding onto your legs, but he did pick up the ball then break a tackle diving over. 39 is an easy looping decision in a way that 37 somehow isn't. (Will still likely take his score).

Agreed.  I assumed not rewarding a player for a TB whilst in the act of scoring was moreso to do with the inert tackles or flops after the fact in goal.  Nanai clearly launched himself through a cover defender before the line that could have stopped him if timed right, so most certainly broke a tackle on his way to scoring.

DFifi wasn't paid one last week as well that could have potentially stopped him scoring.  It does seem like they are very harsh on it now, whereas in the first season they re-worded the TB (2020?) I feel like we hardly noticed a difference between what was deemed a TB during scoring and what was not.

It was definitely before the line in this case mate. Nanai broke through a cover tackle (Schnitzel maybe?) a split second after he caught the ball and at least half a metre out from the goal line.

I’ve been in isolation for the past 7 days after one of the kids tested positive last Thursday night.
Missed our weekend away that we had planned last week as a result.
Tomorrow we regain our freedom, just in time for my birthday on Saturday, which we are celebrating at Crowded House at A day on the green at Centennial Vineyards, Bowral.
No horses or sweet caroline, but there’s sure to be some great songs from a great band. I hope they delve into a bit of the split enz era, for those who can remember that far back.

I got you is one of my favourite songs. Does everyone have a favourite moment in songs like I do? Mine in that song is the build up before he says, "it gets on my nerves". A crescendo if you will.

Also singing along to Me First and the Gimme Gimmes version live was a whole lot of fun.

I think my go to karaoke will now be Tribute by Tenacious D. Everyone loves it no matter how bad I sing it, as long as it's done with passion and energy (and I sing it awesomely, just ask me)

Six months in a leaky boat is mine.
Mostly for me the best moments revolve around film clips, like a good sort showing a bit of extra leg.

He was a smart buy 2-3 weeks ago but if you bought this week I don't think he'll make you enough money. He will get you keeper scores while he plays 80, but I don't think that will last long enough for him to be a genuine keeper.

That said he'll be a nice one to have for the first bye. I just think Trevilyan or Frawley will be back sooner rather than later, and they will take minutes off him and send him back down to the high 30s low 40s range.

The Raiders are a better team when Starling isn't playing 80, he gets gassed and starts missing tackles, as happened tonight. If it was up to me I would be starting Trevilyan for the first 20-30 minutes, that kid is a future gun and the Raiders need to make sure they don't lose him.
Still a smart buy for this week for mine gonna make another 100k and plays round 13. There aren’t many great options for Round 13. You told me Starling was a trap back in round 2 so I’m glad I went with my gut on him got on priced at 31 and he’s avg around 49 since and the Raiders need him playing big mins they look so much better when he’s at hooker than a guy like Frawley or Trevilyan.  Even if he plays 60mins he is still fantasy relevant and tends to avg around 45 anyway and still gets some scores above 50 in 60mins.

He has not missed many costly tackles yet though and that’s been key. When they were down 16-0 when Frawley started and Starling came on and sparked them lol it has  showed Ricky they need him out there. Starling scoring that early try tonight too will only mean Ricky keeps starting him for now. He always finds ways to get attacking points too pretty much whether it be through an offload, tackle breaks, running metres etc.... I like him he’s a good player I feel and I love a running hooker. For the life of me I can’t understand why some on here do not rate him and give him shit I’ve bit my tongue hard but I felt enough is enough now and I’d speak up. There is a reason Canberra has signed him as well as their main hooker next year on. He’s still getting match fitness up playing bigger mins as well yet oh fuck he missed too many tackles like give the dude a break whilst he gets used to playing those massive mins for this year and he’s shown he can do it before too. If we wanna play the missed tackle game Trevilshite made 7 missed tackles the other game in reserve grade but let’s start him over Starling like please I’m pissing myself laughing at that comment....

On what I’ve seen of Trevilshite as well he’s not fit to tie up Starling shoelaces!

I think Starling got a forced turnover as well he’s updated to 56 so he can tackle well and force em into error STAND AND APPLAUD GO SON!! I’ll just watch as he gets up to around that 650k.

Prefer Split Enz to Crowded house - but Pineapple Head is a great bit of songwriting

Somehow the 1 point update to Schneider is so satisfying. I played him for a 40, and that 39 just irked me so.

Safe to say Ricky was not too happy with Savage in the press conference. Yikes

“That’s why Xavier Savage is not playing first grade because he is still learning the game.
“So many of you people want X-factor. So many people want Xavier out there.
“That is why Xavier hasn’t been playing because he is still learning the awareness of the game.
