Would not recommend making fantasy decisions on this - bad teams don’t have good draws, only less bad draws.

Yes, I've had him from the start. Hasn't saved me from this shitty year, but has stopped it from being worse.

The guns I currently have are him, Ipap, Cook, Munster, Papy, Hynes and Teddy, with Teddy to be sold next week for Cleary

My round is shit as it is, I don't have much left to lose. That's why I bought Edrick yesterday, might as well go down swinging because this year has been absolutely cursed for me, from Cheese in round 1 to captaining Ipap over Cook twice in a row to not having Cleary the week he bangs out a 93

Pretty sure you label yourself as cursed every year.

Hastings not afraid to take on the line - going to be days where he looks like dogshit, getting smashed or his short passes being dropped - but definitely has the defence watching. Tamou also doing all the things Twal wishes he could do. Like use footwork. Or offload.
Hard to believe Simpkin is on 12 at the break. Has looked great.

So you don't want players you don't own to score low so their price isn't as much when you want to bring them in?

You'd rather pay $2 for a player compared to $1?

Makes no sense lol . I think you're coming at me from the personal perspective rather than the Fantasy one.

IPap and his value are going to hold +\- 60k whatever happens

You know full well there plenty on here who have him as captain and it’s just fucking sad gloating at poor scores or calling them lucky when it doesn’t go your way

Your team sounds better than mine lol.

Just choose the wrong cows or what?

Papy is a bit hit & miss also I feel

I say that but I was never outside the top 10k last year or the year before, and this year I haven't been inside the top 10k at any point.

Last year was decent in the back half, I went from 10k in round 14 to 2k at the end, this year I started at 55k and am currently at 14k

Penis 19 at HT. He's on track to match Nanai's 37. I'm predicting he finishes on 22 though.

How the fuck are you that far back then? If it’s just poor captains choices pick and stick and you will be fine long term

Ha hadn’t checked, wouldve guessed he was 25ish, on track for 45+ for sure.

I think he could’ve done better than running straight into Mahoney when he made that half break but has otherwise been pretty dynamic.

It was Cheese round 1 mostly, and I've gained every week since then. The only reason I'm even still bothering this year is because I've managed to get the cows mostly right, I started with both Kings etc.

I would like to make an ambiguous statement here so I can then get mock outraged when someone takes the bait (and then a little bit genuinee outraged when they don’t play along)

We are 6 rounds in. If you make sensible trades you can easily claw back some ranks

If you YOLO in crazy picks from the beginning you're more likely to fall further behind than Catch up

So one bad round? Everyone had them just happened early for you! Team looks the good on paper, Cleary in and be fine

How do you have so many guns? I have two of those players and no chance of getting any more guns soon

I went very heavy on guns/cows to start the year, had 7 guns and then no players over 350k, my starting 7 guns were Cheese (RIP), Haas, Ipap, Fifita, Munster, Papy, Teddy. I didn't have guys like Aitken, Burton, Uto etc.

I then sold Cheese to Clifford in round 2, Fifita to Hynes in round 3, then Clifford to Cook in round 5, and will be going Teddy to Cleary next week (I have the money to do it in a single trade and go JKing to Talakai)

Just tuned in. Wests winning WTF? Scrum against head, oh boy, should be worth points.

Normally love laughing at Wests, but go Tigers!
