Rushton getting a chance is great news. Looking forward to seeing him in first grade. Likely comes in this week or next.

Rapana as fullback is interesting. I recall him struggling for fitness to close out 80 minutes last season however.

When you say comes in, do you mean into your Fantasy squad?

Hudson Young displaces him any minute now, doesn't he?

Just realised with no Koula, I have no WFB cover.

I am thinking Ilias to Lee and Jing to Tolo. Although it gives me a 18-21 of Leo, Lee, Koula and Vailea. That's fucked.

    Yes my fantasy squad.

Young is an EDG, which Elliott covers from the bench. Rushton is a big minute lock (can also cover EDG if needed).

If you are looking for a guy that could finish the season like Uto did, given a couple of injuries, he is that kind of guy.

70-80 minute lock for 60 fantasy points this season. Even if getting 45 minutes over Origin, he should score well.

Anyone know what's up with Billy Smith? Not playing for the Bears but also not listed as injured, just completely out of favour?

So you think he has a fair chance to hold a spot of some description? Who drops out of the 21 when Hudson inevitably returns?

I'm looking at Perham or even Naden as cash out options, so I'd love an appealing alternative.

    Just catching up.

Hynes Origin talk from a few pages ago... think that's low probability. If they want a back cover 14 then Wighton has been there done that, but 95% sure that barring injury Papy will be a bench spark player at 14. Hynes Origin only relevent for Origin 3 anyway, so who knows what the situation will be by then.

Might be MattNZ "he's in my squad and nothing else to back it up"-style thinking, but reckon Koula comes into Manly's 13 on gameday if he passes HIA protocols.

Also, where the fuck is Billy Smith?

Burton > H. Rushton will give me exactly enough for Coates > Haas.

    Is this a sign?

Getting Lolo in too. Walters + Kobe out for Lolo and Lee.

18-21 will be: Ilias, Lee, Leo, Koula Vomit

Evening lads, can we talk about Hookers?....... NRL Fantasy 2022 Part 31 - Mrs Snatchpato celebration thread - Page 35 1f607

I've been chancing it with just Randall. Feel its time for Cook or Grant, but both have downsides re Origin and cost vs handcuff.

    Your thoughts?

Just looking back over last few weeks... is it Guler's minutes he'd be taking? Is Guler injured, or just out of favour?

Rushton is highly rated and finally getting his chance. He has come in for Guler who has been dropped on form. Their standard drops whenever Tapine is off the field and Rushton has been brought in to turn that around.

Looking like the Whitehead at lock experiment is over, but he is still the captain. Young is competing with CHN for that EDG (with Elliott also in contention).

When Young comes back for Raiders, everything (and Ricky's interviews) would suggest it'll be in the 2rf with Whitehead going to lock. Paps, Taps, Whitehead all play 50+. Sutton and Horsburgh get decent time from the bench. Then there'll be a utility back plus Rushton, a kid who they'll be easing in to NRL, who you'd think is basically #6 middle. Could slow burn you 100k like Leo but wouldn't expect too much unless he's the second coming of Adrian Morley.

How about Paix as a buy? Just wondering if Kevy is gonna keep playing with his hookers or is gonna commit to one of them. Like many, I'm looking for a cheap out to get Cleary and none of the cheapies are appealing.

I'd take a slow burn $100K for what I need from these trades to free up some cash for Cleary for sure. Like I said above, I'm looking at Perham and Naden, so 100K slow burn sounds heavenly.

As you suggest there, my main worry would be really low minutes and sub-20 scores... but he may just be the best of few options at the price point.

If you want to handcuff your hooker you have to pay extra

I was hoping he was cheaper, as he seems worth a punt... but he's too expensive for me.

Would obviously be a big risk, but interesting at that price and inevitable minutes for this week, at least.

230k itb. Nanai, Ilias, Coates and Leo my potential trade outs.

Nanai's probably got another 50k tops to make. Could trade him to Angus or Lolo.

Lolo plays round 13 and has been getting good minutes last 3 outings. Angus is cheaper, probably higher ceiling but no round 13. Could take a punt on Taaffe and hope he strings together more 40s than 20s, out for Ilias as I dont really see him as a decent fantasy prospect.

Still no Haas but after getting Cleary last week I don't really see a route to him absent one of my more expensive players getting injured.

Guler was getting about 35 minutes per week before being hooked early this week.

If Rushton got 30 of that at a PPM of 1 initially, and 45 minutes at Origin, I would be happy for $220k.

Upside potential would be Ming 2.0

Thompson, Koula, Nanai, Ming, Walters, potentially Burton, Crichton, Tago, Wilton and Mann. So many trade outs. Definitely going to run out of trades 3 weeks after we get four per round.
