    Need some advice.

    Thinking Burton+Papenhyuzen > Rushton+Ponga.

This'll give me enough to buy Haas and Cleary next week.

    Current Team

    Cook
    Yeo Murray MKing
    iPap Aitken
    Mann Schneider
    Burton Tago
    Hynes Taaffe Pap

    Penisini Jones Tuilagi Randall

    Ilias Coates Koula Thompson

Thoughts on this, or should I wait it out?

Trades are in for me and I hate them but I couldn’t be cleary less anymore

Bye bye beau fermor and Matt burton

Hello Nathan cleary (c) and Harry rushton

I had 238k spare and none of the available players enticed me so I figured having a red dot is gun for looping sometimes, having an English lad is great, and maybe this guy is the next Andrew Farrell (GB legend),

Hate losing beau just cos I have a soft spot for him,

Choice between hunt and burton for other trade out, think hunt scores better and is a POD for me

That’s why I only used his games at CTR for those stats I understand they are slightly different positions.

Yeah, I see it more as after the last few years he has been playing against the big boys in tight, now he is back to the old position but everything seems easy for him compared to what he has been used to during games. Wouldn't have had the experience / body development / training / strength that he has now, when initially playing CTR a few years ago. Is a very different player, but still has the speed of a CTR, with the strength attributes of a powerful forward. Its very rare, typically we see players move the other way as they age and lose speed, but gain strength, like Wiki. Its unusual to see a player move wider so successfully.

Thompson to Taaffe worthwhile or waste? Taaffe probably been talked about a lot already so will catch up. My thoughts are shit base, but with goal kicking and soft draw could make 100-150k. Thomo probs won’t make much more unless there’s more injuries etc.

No not enough slack. I do not really need Mann. He is not getting the minutes to be a keeper and it is unlikely he will. I already have a lot of other halves and he does not really rate enough the displace other MIDs. I think it is better to have Cleary than Mann and he could undo all of that money he has lost with a decent score this week.

AOB has really been screwing up his rotation, pretty sure they ended up with Sasigi at lock this week, which is nuts! Fortunately he is out of the side this week.

Still expecting Mann to come right, as Jones gets fit enough to play 80 and they start getting troops back. 60+ minute lock is the right role for Mann to average 50+. Willing to wait with a couple of weeks of 40+ if that is what it takes to see that through. Should end up scoring well and hitting $700k.

Leaning towards Crichton to anyone 577K and under for my second trade...

    thinking of

    Talakai -
Surely holds that spot all year now on form. Great fend, lots of TB's and tries are a base? Getting a lot of early ball and there is a lot of points in the Sharks this year. Games against Manly, Broncos, Warriors, Raiders, Titans, Roosters, Warriors, Titans, Bulldogs coming up it looks mighty juicy. If I think of it like I am buying an edge player, averaging 62 at centre, priced at 46 it makes sense right? Only leaves 18K so Haas would have to wait even longer.

Ponga - wouldn't be surprised if he takes over kicking again with Clifford stinking it up. Contract shit being over maybe he finally strings together some games. Chasing points? Formerly close to a top 3/4 FB. Can he find that form and can the Knights find some zip again? Only leaves 10K.

who is the priority trade out

    TU: Josh King (plodder)
    TD: Nanai (missed tackle fiend)

Crichton is another option I suppose but his DPP CTR/WNG is so valuable even if he does lose a little bit of coin

Erm, its nuts..? he slotted into Crosslands role. Crossland back on the bench this week. I don't think coaches care about what suits our fantasy teams.

With TB's being a base stat for him, I think worst case he averages 40, with the odd 60+ game. I've already missed 150K but at this point I think he will be the highest averaging CTR for the year. Not worried on his JS.

Opposition doesn't seem to matter for Talakai. Just scored 68 against Storm in a team that got spanked and scored 75 up against Gagai, taking him to school.
