Fingers crossed for Raiders captain Elliott Whitehead, who is in a race against time to be fit to play Penrith after having minor surgery today. Suffered a sickening head clash at training yesterday with Ata Mariota

Actually a very sensible point. Obviously can't police training like games but hard to think of a scenario where a player had a head clash requiring surgery where the duty of care shouldn't mean 5 days on HIA protocols.

Path to cleary, do I lose burton or hunt,

Leaning toward losing burton, hasn’t impressed me and dogs have been tosh,

Hunt could be a Wildcard to shoot me up the rankings

Clubs still have to adhere to the protocols.

A club doctor would be putting their career on the line to dodge the system, but hey, this is the NRL and anything goes. All sessions are filmed

HIA protocols is why Brenko Lee didnt replace Herbie last week. Brenko copped a bad knock at training

What has happened to Brandon Smith? Is he just kicking up rocks about starting from the bench or saving his body for a Roosters premiership? Hes going at about 0.5PPM and become a tackles and run metres only forward. He’s the perfect IN for me this week, but its a blind leap of faith on his pedigree that he surely turns it around.

Planning Leo>BSmith, but spooked by his scores so far

I would only consider trading him in if Grant or King was out long term.

He could still be, but a week out from that call from the coach I wouldnt be trading out others ahead of him. If Wilton had created enough cash for the trades I wanted, I would have traded out Wilton this week ahead of Papy.

With WFBs not going to the usual norm, it's incredibly risky trading Papy out mate

You have been done in by same player before

It could end up being the wrong move, or he gets an HIA 5 minutes into a game and is out for weeks. Just need to make a decision and stick with it.

Do we think it’s a good time to sell Tago and Critta high? They both play 13 but aren’t going to make much more from here.

Cosndiering them both to Haas and Ponga this week?

    TŪ - bad trades
    TD - good trades

Sold them both last week. Obviously risky to sell them, but if you're getting Haas and Ponga you may aswell

    Nanai > Luki
    Leo > Taumalolo

Uses all my bank but pretty tempted to take a punt on both of them. I am worried about Payten’s chopping and changing, but I think Luki could make decent cash (and score better) whereas Nanai has probably a slow burn 50k more.

    Team last round:
    Starling
    Murray, Max, Cotter
    Jones, Wilton
    Ilias, Schneider
    Tago, Crichton
    Teds, Paps, Hynes
    Randall, Curran, Mann, Tuilagi
    Nanai, Penis, Thompson, Smith

Trade option 1 is Crichton to Lee and Teddy to Haas, leaving 102K in my bank.
Pros: Nanai and his unpredictability can stay where it is. Good chunk of change for another upgrade next week.
Cons: No WFB coverage, unless Tago is the man to go instead of Crichton. Will Lee keep a spot in round 10?

Trade option 2 is Crichton to Lee and Wilton to Cleary, and a bank of $26K.
Pros: Get a gun half. Lee can sit in my 18-21.
Cons: Not much coin and Haas may get to a Cleary like price in a few rounds.

Trade option 3 is Crichton to Taafe and Wilton to Haas, but $6K funds.
Question mark around this proposal is will Taafe  maintain an average to justify such a move?
