Careful making trades that leave us with no cover in EDG/MID/HOK we will need to fix our depth up over the next few weeks

I want to ditch Nanai for Hastings, but worried about EDG cover so thinking about a potential 2nd trade

Yeah that was my dilemma too and why I started looking at Angus/Jackson for dual.. Settled on Jazz for the 2nd trade even though he's a MID, but figure we can survive a week playing Tago at SR and BroJo hopefully back next week (or recovers this week?), or deal with the problem next week. Maybe Tuilagi if he stops getting injured.

Not sure if dumping Scritta as my 2nd trade is the best move, but Penis leaves us short and I kinda want to stick with Burton.

This team needs rebalancing, its a very back heavy squad. Fifita as the only MID cover behind Mann and King looks really bad.

Would suggest getting some of the value available to sure up that position. No need for 2 CTRs and 3 reserve CTRs.

With Jones unlikely to play, you don't want to be relying on one of Taaffe, Ilias or Fifita in your 17 and playing a 5th CTR in the 17 with Koula seems pretty crazy too.

Tevaga and Cheese look like good options to bring in.

I agree, too many centres. One of Crichton, Burton or Tago (I voted Crichton but could be any) should 100% go this week but doesn't look like that is how the votes will shake out. Unless Burton & Crichton votes can be combined as "centre votes"

Yeah votes don't reflect so far but ideally have to sell a CTR. I don't think Mann to Jazz is a better trade than Burton or Crichton to Jazz, considering team balance

FWIW Crichton would've been sold last week, except for Tuilagi being a late out. But I guess one week is a long time.

Yeah I'm torn. I'd change my Critta vote to Burton if it meant keeping Mann, but it's a community choice and feels against the spirit to change based on results that are coming in and the community as a whole makes better decisions than I do.

Running without some cover for a week isn't too bad, but needs to be addressed soon.

Will take this into account after voting

There is precedent this season to ignore the "winning" vote. The week we got Cleary, the biggest single vote choice was a trade that didn't bring him in, but all the various permutations of getting him outvoted the permutations of not getting him.

Still early days in voting, could change by this evening

If this was my personal team I would be doing a trade like:
Mann > Hastings (was hoping to get Tevaga but just out of reach)
Taaffe > Cheese

Gets a playable 17th man if Jones is out and good scoring for 2 lemons, while also starting to fix the MID problem and a HOK backup if we want to trade Randall soon after.

None of the CTRs bring in enough cash to make this kind of play unfortunately.

They would be next week's problem.

Alternative trade to get a decent 17 would be:
Burton > Tevaga
Taaffe > Tuilagi

Then could grab Cheese next week if getting minutes and scoring to finish fixing the MIDs

At the moment it seems pretty clear people want to get rid of Mann, plethora of centres or not. His trade out votes well eclipse the sum of the centre trade out votes

With the Harris/Curran news, rethink trading Mann to Jazz?

I'm thinking either 1 trade, Nanai to Hastings or 2 trades CTR to Tuilagi?

Can't trade Mann unless it's to another MID.
