If NRL Fantasy ceased operating, I think I'd miss this forum more than I would Fantasy itself. If it wasn't for this forum, I probably might have stopped playing the game already. I am a regular at the arse end of the FOG but I'm not too fussed. I don't post massive amounts but I like the characters on here, learn weird stuff all the time and just enjoy some internet hours where people aren't trying to rip each other to shreds. It's quite good on here, that's all.

    Go for broke mate.
I think you're aiming to take MTB's 'nicest poster' crown though.

I wouldn’t be playing fantasy if this forum didn't exist. I started playing with work colleagues well before finding the forum, but now, this place is why I keep playing.

Well said mate. I don't play NRLF, and I'm still a member of this forum.

Yeah I'd keep coming back if fantasy stopped.

Would still hang around during games and talk shit like normal, that's for sure.

As mentioned in a previous thread.

When making a double trade, nrlfanatasy sometimes for unknown reasons swaps players around... this is very annoying as it stops you from simply reversing the trade.
To avoid this, it is best to make a single trade, press CONFIRM TRADE. Then make your second trade.

Can't afford just Ilias to Hastings?

Kings and Nanai aren't urgent, but JKing doesn't play Rd 13, so probably him.

Fair enough, though it's a moot point now since I've found a better way to hedge against May.

That said, SC actually does allow reversing trades during the round now, and you can still do what I described, I've done it once this season

I think you can do it in VSDT too, which is not surprising, since they both have the same developer (Virtual Sports).

Supercoach (and Sportsdeck) have a new feature this year where you can "update a trade"

If the traded out player has locked out, but the traded in player hasn't, you can switch the trade to another unlocked player. Its more flexible than reverse trades and making the new one. I've never actually tried it to see if it works.
Its not a feature in fantasy

    This.

    Can anyone see the best way for me to get Hastings?  Probably gonna keep Cook, that was crazy talk I think....is it?  My team;

    Cook
    Ming Yeo Jing
    Fermor Aitken
    Cleary Schneider
    Tago Penis
    Pap Scritta Hynes

    Randall Starling Burton Nanai

    Ilias Leo Koula Vailea

    Only 5K in the bank.

    A.  Cook and Ilias to Tolo and Hastings (again probably dumb selling Cook)

    B. Ilias and Schneider to Tass and Hastings (lose a round 13 player though)

    C. Penis and Ilias to Tass and Hastings. (Dont like selling Penis though)

Trying to gun for round 13 but Hastings a must by the looks.  B is probably the smart play here regardless of 13. But if I'm missing something any thoughts would be grand.  Can't do much with Jing as Leo my only MID cover.  Tough one.

Good for him. I rate him better than he's being used by the Tigers, like Corey Thompson. Probably not getting any better of a role there, but can enjoy some wins.

I remember playing DT back in 2010 and 2011, and I don't miss not being able to reverse trades

You couldn't reverse trades in SC back then either, and there were no rolling lockouts. IIRC, from 2012, you could reverse trades BEFORE the first game of the rounds, and the rolling lockouts were introduced.

Unfortunately can't go Ilias to Hastings in the 1 trade. Whoever I choose will go large

Choosing between Supercoach and Fantasy is a really easy decision. Fantasy is better looking, better scoring system, better player price rise system and is a better product all round. If there was no fantasy I don't even know if I would play supercoach. I just really dislike it as a product and I don't think there would be any point in me playing it when I can just watch the games as a fan. That said watching the game with a fantasy eye brings a new perspective and is very enjoyable.
