Checked Turbo draw. Broncos (nice) Eels Storm then Origin. Was close to getting Ben as cashout before KO on weekend. Would've been ok then now I look at it and Ola to come back, Schuster?? he'll probably go back to bench minute nightmare soon enough

Schneider and Tago will lose money but play Rd 13

TL:DR with fixtures I'll probably hold off on likes of Teddy until after Origin

Problem is that I am so short of WFBs that I really need one whether I hold or sell Papy, and just looking at top tier guns in general, basically all of them will be affected by Origin so might as well get one in a position I need.

That said if I did sell Papy, I could sell him to Grant instead, and then sell Tago to a WFB <450k (looking at Tracey or Tuipulotu if I do this)

I would much rather go Tago/Schneider to Turbo/Burbo though, as I still get a gun in and don't have to sell Papy for it - I don't think Tago and Schneider will score much anyway, they've both dropped off a lot

Looking like this is the week I’ll be bringing in Koula. Will be playing him in place of Papy
    Thompson/Billy Smith becomes TPJ

Billy Smith, Egan Butcher, Adam Keighran and Connor Watson will all return to full unrestricted training this week following successful rehabilitation of their respective injuries.

Sam Verrills will undergo surgery after sustaining a fractured collarbone during the match. A timeline of his return will be determined following surgery.

WFB is a shit position this year, currently have Hynes, Pappy, Edwards and Critter.

At this stage I think im going to trade Schneider/Pappy to Elliott/Burton and run the gauntlet without WFB cover

I hate the idea of trading Pap to Turbo or Ted so close to Origin. Would go To'o but same deal. Might just run Koula, Hynes and Scritta without cover and trade to a forward.

Edwards is an okay option. Feels yuck trading him in though. Plays 13 though I spose.

    Nofo another option.

Yeah I’m feeling the same thing. Trade Pappy to a gun forward and turn someone into Koula.

Problem is I’m just moving the 20-30 scorer from my MIDs (Leo) to my WFB (Koula)

Billy Smith will never play NRL again this year until I trade him.

Please don’t trade him then, his value as a loop has exceeded the value that I’m expecting to get if he does play!

Yeah im tempted to do the same. Trade pap to ipap and run Hynes, May and Critta as my back 3 with Koula as cover.

I remember trading pap to ipap last year and that work out ok.

paid up for Lolo last week and regretted going for a guy who was abit in the middle. Wasnt a value pick and not really a super gun either.

At this point should i just be going for out and out guns, going for under priced guns like Crichton, McInnes? or do we still look at 350-500k guys on the up like elliot?

I dont play during the byes in the my league so just focusing on building the team to win my league. Currently 9-0 but gaps starting to show with Pappy Tualigi Tago and a 16-21 of Ilias Coates Tass, Smith, Walters, Koula

im missing Grant Munster Murray DCE not sure if its a good idea to pay 900kish for these guys and if so which one.

Trading to Turbo however is the the no brainer play. I knew what it was like not having him last year.

Tempted here too. Will need to figure out who goes between Tago, Schneider and Tuilagi as my other trade. early leaning is Tuilagi out.

Why are people looking at trading out Tago? Surely madness to trade a fit centre averaging over 40, especially one who plays R13? Only one score below 30 all year, I'm taking that every day from a centre.

Unless you're trading to a different position, I don't think you're getting much of an upgrade. He has the 9th highest avg at CTR, but of those above him I'd only trade to Burton or Aitken (and even then). Graham, Mulitalo and Ramien are within 1 point of his avg. so much of a muchness, Gagai injured, and May and Talakai have peaked.

Pap to Tohu could be an interesting one - think he's due back fairly soon, possibly even this week. Could be a bit of a POD play + he plays R13 if back.
