The way my team has started with poor cash gen I need to take a few risks. Just over 500k for a young gun that averaged nearly 50 last year and plays the first bye is not a bad roll of the dice IMO

Bought him 2nd game back. 42 avg was ok. Had overpaid but was POD that just needed to grab a try and first half Storm game doing all kicking at FB was encouraging 26pts at HT. Then he fell off cliff

    2nd half Storm. -1pt in 40 mins

    Raiders 83 mins 17pts with 4 GK

Sharks 76 mins 37pts with I think the try assist run was worth 17pts

Would be a bloody good week for Edrick to put together a string of 40+ scores

Plays the Thursday night game so can have a look. If he goes well he plays the Thursday night again next week. And if he goes well again will have the Warriors but plays after Papy so would be hoping for the best

Think you'll need to maintain a top scoring winger by replacing papy with someone able to score similarly, turbo or Ted are priced around the same as Papy. Neither are r13 players so maybe a Jones or thompson to Elliot could be an option also to give you an extra r13 player moving forward.

Without looking at options I think I'll trade Papy to a gun of the hok/mid/edg variety to fix up a spot in 14-17. Too many duds in my team. May as well play Koula or Coates at wfb3. Trading in a wfb who might score some 30's will hurt when it just adds to the other 20's and 30s haha

Superstar fullback Ryan Papenhuyzen faces a stint on the sidelines with knee, ankle and hamstring injuries with the Daily Telegraph reporting Tyran Wishart, son of rugby league great Rd Wishart is in line to replace him. Craig Bellamy, however, is keeping his options open, flagging the possibility of Cameron Munster or Jarome Hughes switching positions. “Wishy’ did a good job there (at fullback) the other day but with all due respect he is a halfback, that is his main position,” he told the Telegraph.

So - if Wishart is named, at $220k, he's a nice easy switch for one of my underperforming cows

My trades this week atm looking like:
    Pappy & Leo T. out - TPJ & Koula in & leaves 251k bank.

Will give me 15 for rd. 13 but that includes Billy Smith & Rushton...will leave them because you never know the Roosters & Raiders might get several injuries so those 2 get good mins. Unlikely but vaguely possible lol.

I think Smith might play with Teddy out and Manu fullback. As long as he doesn't get injured before then.

Josh Pap will be Origin for Raiders, so Rushton should at least get you 15 from the bench, maybe more, who knows?

Interesting. Surely Meaney to FB is the no brainer hear though?

I thought he had gone back 80 minutes last week with rapana replaced. Looks like he didnt.

Will have another few weeks to take a look. On my radar though. Just think the raiders are rubbish.

I think passing on Grant when I had a good look at him early doors has probably been one of my bigger faux paus this year (oh yeah....starting with Angus instead of Haas jocolor)

Byes and Origin now complicating things

I guess byes don't mean much if the gun you bring in now puts up a couple of 80+ scores. But it is harder to justify.

That is absolutely correct....but does bring some serious 'overthinking it' into the equation

Edit : Also can't see anyone I would love to have who isn't playing SOO or the second bye. If selling Pap I want to bank 50+ every week with ceiling potential
