Lone Scout has some views different.

Anyone know why Lolo's mins dropped off last weekend? Bit a of pain as part of the reason I scored so poorly

Dom Brock left it the off season, and Kennedy has now left too, so who is even writing this stuff now? Some of those views seem a bit more out there than usual.

Any interest in Patty Carrigan? Is the consensus that he will play Origin?

Wasn't really needed in the second half with Cowboys holding a comfortable lead. I'm not worried, he holds on to the ball to score instead of dropping it over the line and he scores 50.

Lol. I dunno know how he went/goes.

I just think his views were appropriately conservative for a bloke whose audience of casuals will absolutely slate him if his advice goes wrong. Very obvious takes, and err towards hold rather than sell.

Whereas some of these new takes are going to age like milk, and "Lone Scout" will cop a hammering on the socials.

It's not that Pauly G dude who seemed to take over the vids this year is it? He is a real 'what happened last week' kind of player....I couldn't stand the late crew podcast mainly because I hate commercial radio and it sounds exactly like that. The contributors also seemed to be the type of guys you would have to draw a diagram for to show the  location of their arse relative to their elbow (apologies Rabs, personal tastes and that)

I think Kennedy did realise he was shit at fantasy but he did come at things from a 'watching and understanding a game of RL' perspective

Why is everyone so down on Tuilagi? Had one bad game but otherwise been going at 40 a game. His role hasn't changed, still has 100k left in him. Another 20 this week and maybe he's a sell.

Neither do I, but in fairness he is/was employed as a journo/reporter who also took on the fantasy stuff. Its not like the NRL are employing somebody because of their fantasy ability.

To be fair, he's still a long way from being caught in the churn and smashed up on the rocks (he can almost see Toby Sexton battling to stay afloat as the waves surge dragging him under).

If you adjust your perspective the ledge really isn't all that bad, the sunsets are magnificent and with a bit of shelter and a good fishing rod, a peaceable contented existence could be found.

    Very creative, love it

Just remember you all paid 1mil for Cleary because he's 20 points better than the next best fantasy player and is a set and forget captain. If you're not gonna captain him you may well sell him and bring in 2 guns!

If I was to rank them from who would score the best, to worst i'd go:

    1. Ming
    2. Tuilagi
    3. Ilias
    4. Tago
    5. Luki

    Yeah, agree.

I think it was more important that he added value for the majority of players who aren't on forums every day and thinking about it all the time. He played it very straight with the advice. Not telling people to consider Ese'ese, for example. That's probably a journos instinct.

Anyway, just read it - the new Lone Scout is mentioning matchups more, so maybe it's someone here?
