To be fair I probably wouldn’t buy him this week either. He was almost a straight swap for Leo when I got him in. And whilst Leo did his job, Elliot was a fair upgrade when I was struggling for playable MIDS.

If he keeps this role or similar until Round 13 I’m calling it a win.

Didn’t realise Manu was still averaging 40+. Just expected it to be much less

Damn straight. Cash gen grab with some (hopefully) decent points thrown in.
I picked him up in before last week, he's already made $50k and he still has a single digit BE.
He can stick around until 14 and get traded up to a 17 gun.

Nah, but there was a hope that he would make some $$ play round 13 and be a straight swap to someone better. Having assessed and re-assessed I think I'm going to get over my TPJ aversion and bring him in as an alternative

I already have a mid with questionable role security (Jazz) so I probs don't need another one

Edit : Also my post about Matt being the Lone Scout was unrelated to anything other than the random Lone Scout discussion from yesterday...It would be fun if Lone Scout gave forthright and outside the box advice

Hey Milchcow, I actually think Mattnz is one of the most useful/entertaining posters on here. It takes balls to voice an unpopular opinion over trades and which player to grab when. 
If he ever quits this forum will be the poorer for it.

Personally I'm not sure if he is a long term or a short term option.  No one knows but as I said last night, still looks like a decent punt to me.

I just mentioned that Matt said 'likely' to happen yet, no one actually knows what will happen.

As long as he gets 60mins in the middle until then the rest is gravy
Sub 400k buy in, 50+ points, 50k made, DPP cover
Raiders have been better the past couple weeks, Elliott MOM a couple weeks ago as well
No point overthinking or worrying about it

I'm legit 50/50 on Elliot. Still cash to make, but having already missed 2 weeks it feels 1 week closer to when it all blows up.

If I do get him, it's for Schneider, so can wait until the last few minutes before kickoff. Might even have a pre-game shower to really live dangerously.
