I guess hold and hope he strings together 3-4 30 point games, but who knows how long that'll take!

I'm trading him unless he doesn't pass concussion protocol and gets ruled out at 5pm today, in which case I'll hold him and sell Schneider instead (would play Koula in Schneider's place).

if that happens then I may give Elliott a miss as I would be able to afford Burton, but then I would have to find a way to get rid of Edrick next week.

Elliott didn't look to shabby the last couple games. I'm on the train, I need an extra body for rd13

My biggest concern with Elliott is whether it is 1 x t or 2 t’s at the end.

Anyway, have looked it up. 2 x t’s it is for Adam.

Sweet. I have cover. Don't mind chaos with popular player. Can do some sweet multi loops to look at Koula or Davey then Tuilagi if neither first 2

With a few players out this week, including some heavily owned, would be an interesting week for covid to hit, with all the teams in the one location, could be real chaos.

He was, but I was as skeptical of his medium term job security then as I am now. I ended up getting Angus Crichton instead, who scored slightly more and made almost as much cash, and has better long term prospects.

Will I regret the extra cash spend in the long term?

I’m hoping with some forwards back and a slightly easier run in they can compete a little more.

Hopefully that translates to a few more 30s

Thanks guys. I wouldn't mind trading him, but feels like a waste. Especially when I sold Coates to get Lee in the week he got his 68.

Hadnt thought of him being scratched for the HIA. Would make some trades easier

I've got him. He was my way to get Cleary. I think I'll be holding and hope he gets some tries like Coates. He's not playing for Melbourne though.

Starling this week in CBR times -

"When you start ... you know you've got longer minutes, so when I come off the bench I know I can go on there and go 100 miles an hour, and bounce around, too," Starling said.

"[I'll] bring a bit of sparkle onto the field and be able to play the rest of the game out there towards the end of the game, when I've still got a little bit more energy in me, so I can still provide for the team.

"So it's just a different role and I feel like I can adapt to both of them.

"So whatever [Stuart] wants me to do, whatever he needs me to do or whatever the team needs me to do, is what I'm prepared to do."

Putting in a full 80-minute stint is paramount for the Raiders in the round 10 fixture, as the side has given up a number of leads this season in the dying stages of contests.

The youngster knows this, and is building towards being able to deliver a full shift at hooker.

During Magic Round, though, he has some creative licence when he makes an impact off the bench.

"It's something I'm working on," he said.

"Picking my moments when I can be 100 miles an hour and then also when I need to tone it back a little bit sometimes.

"It's one of those things that I've just got to keep building. I'll get there."

If I couldn’t afford TPJ I’d probably be going Elliot. Just feel like it’s a trade I can save in the long run.

Surely there will be plenty more options to make a quick buck in the future

I'm leaning towards Papy to Angus this week. Not sure if he's 'back', has obviuosly had a couple of good scores. Be nice if he can jag a try for a 75 or so.

Admittedly 4 x 40's from Elliot up to and including round 13 is the same as 3 x 53's from Crichton. But the season doesnt end in round 13. Elliot would make some nice cash tho.

Such a thing as a bad time to trade in IPap? I can trade Papenhuyzen to him but only if I trade Jones to Burbo instead of Elliott.

Doesn't play R13 and is at a premium price but he is an elite keeper for the position.

Surely Edrick Lee wasn't brought in to average 30s? Career average on the wing is mid 20s which should still be enough to make some cash

I'll be holding him until he manages to string a few decent games together

Edrick is a know your shitto hall of famer so that might take the rest of the season

The funny thing is you are allowed more than one player, you could still have both
I am not going to fan boy or ride him like some here, I’m not going to die on an Elliott hill

He does a job, makes some cash and points and has been fun to watch
Overthinking is a lot of the problem, we aren’t the coach but if he is playing well and he is happy with him then just got to trust that is enough

At worst he costs you a trade and some points but if you were playing Ilias or Schneider then probably not even that either

Buy him or not, but people would think they were spending a mil on cleary here

He was getting 30s in his first two games and then shit the bed the next two (though you could argue that was because those games were against the Storm and Cowboys)

Knights draw is coming good, but I'm not willing to give him a chance if I can be rid of him for Elliott - he only stays in my side if he gets ruled out for HIA protocols
