Is trading Hastings for Sexton a dumb move? Have not got Butcher yet. Tohu next week.

I know a bunch of you have been to Magic Round. We’re looking at a big group of us heading up next year. Any recommendations for accommodation, what’s the price range for that weekend? Easy way to get tix?

Plenty of good accom within walking distance. Just hit up the usual sites.
Just make sure you book accom early. Id want to get numbers together and be ready to book when the dates/draw is announced
Tickets just on ticketek but if you have a large group they do have a group bookings team i think that can be better than booking via the site

Don't like any of those ins really. BMM might get rubbish minutes still. Savage looks a trap and 27 BE enough to wait and see another week. Dragons players interesting but come with question marks

Why did Sexton make twice as many tackles than he normally does last week?
32 compared to a rough average of 16 from the rest of his games.

I have all 3 with Sexton and Kiraz in for Randall and Talakai. Tohu next week for me. Hastings looks long term keeper and great Rd 17 player. No way I'd sell

I'm starting to lean towards Ramsey, he looked very good at fullback last week and had pretty decent stats in base + power. Doesn't play 13 but he's 281k with a BE of 5, and going Randall to him leaves me easily enough money to go Schneider to Tohu next week, and ideally gives me another R17 number.
Ramsey just needs to keep the fullback spot and average mid 30s to be worth owning, of course there are risks but he passed the eye test last week.

I guess the attacking team ran to his side twice as much as they usually do.

Sorry just wondering where an extra 16 points randomly came from?Loomer wrote:

I would have thought that’s a legitimate query

You're asking about a 61pt score for a player priced at 35pts with 8 BE

What the hell is power? Like attacking stats? How long have the kids been calling it power? Makes it sound like a computer or trading card game. I am not sure whether I love it or hate it

Nah all good mate. I guess it is somewhat interesting but the last two weeks teams must have picked a weakness on that side or something.

It's a term from a Supercoach discord server I'm in (pretty chill place unlike the fantasy discords)
Basically power stats are offloads and TBs, so base+power is base stats plus offloads and TBs, since there are some players where power stats are basically base.

Just thought it was relevant. I just can’t get behind a guy that score 8,15,34 before having a purple patch and in a not very good team.
I’ll be proven wrong but happy to let him go

Yeah true, I'm just concerned about this injury he has. Looked so fucked at HT and couldn't finish off the game.

Don't be bringing your Supercoach terminology in here. *folds arms*
