Similar story here. I'm gonna have a sub-par final team unless some mid-season cashies turn up soon.

Post bye round I'm looking at Tevaga and Starling out for Papali'i and anyone under $700k.
Teddy is out of reach for now so I'll be looking at Papenhuyzen instead when he's back to partner Hynes and whatever dud WFB I still have hanging around.

Thankfully guys like Angus, Mcinnes, Tohu etc lost a bit of cash this season making them easier to pick up

Beer is very acidic, and it's carbonated. Drink Tequila instead.

I think McInnes is a bit overated on here tbh. Doesn't look like he'll average more than 55 and he's already priced there.
If you've picked him up for cheap already great but I think there will be better value elsewhere from here on in.

I have a somewhat similar problem, though I'm getting rid of one dud by going Peoples to RFM.

Plan for me is Hastings to Mahoney next week (unless Cotter backs up), then two of Ponga/MKing/Elliott to a cheapie and Papy when he's back, then the third one of those guys plus another peaked cheapie to Teddy in R18-19.

Same feeling. Going to be very selective of my Rd 17 trade ins even if costs me ranks. Have better plan for next season. Only taken me 11 years of playing fantasy

People talking about trading out Hastings confuse me. Dude was almost 50 in base points before he got injured and is playing injured now so not running the ball, kicking goals or kicking in play as much. He’s still the leader of the pack and has his hands on everything.

He’s a wait and see for me, if his foot is no good after the bye week and he scores poorly, sure he drops cash but you can trade then. He’s worth the wait, as if he’s back to his normal he is a keeper for sure.

When's CNK back? Don't rate Savage that much, bit green (pardon the pun).

Can facilitate Ilias + People's > Robson + Savage though, so arguable worth it

I picked him up for 613k, so priced mid 40s. Will be thrilled if he can average 55 from here on out.

Neither. He’s also still under 700k. Other options like Moses Papy Mahoney Klemmer are all still more expensive than him. Absolutely still a buy IMO

Fun fact: The Broncos have not lost a game since Billy Walters became starting hooker.

Yeah if you got him at that price well done. Now priced at 52 and 55 (my guess) will be the upper end of his possible average with every chance he averages lower than his current price point. Again this is opinion and given my current rank I clearly haven't got too much right this year Laughing

Gone a bit cold on Savage.

    Schneider > Sexton
    Critter > Walsh
    TPJ > Harris

Gives me 12 for the week which seems a fair amount
