Yep Dufty definitely my main reason of being hesitant. Surely he comes back at some point? I guess if Avo kills it, then he won't
At the same time, hasn't he had enough chances? Surely the Dogs realise he's a dud.

Yea good point and with him off to Super League, perhaps they've decided as he isnt great that there's no point persevering with a guy leaving, so let's give someone who's sticking around next year a go.
Hmm, might take me all day to decide on RFM or Avo and will likely decide wrong just before kick off

Makes me feel much better about missing out on Robson because I did similar.
Sorry to hear Chewie I guess just pretend you're playing with 1 less good player.

Ouch, that hurts Chewie, right at your time to strike too.

Thanks for the support lads... I'm not doing great this season anyway, but will still make up some ground this round.
I have thrown my full support behind #TeamDarkKnight and #TeamMulvy
(I have flashbacks to #TeamZora & #TeamVerbal from a few seasons back)

Rough luck mate - although reading this did make me panic and flick tabs to check!
Although hey, my Burton (c) is still perfectly capable of scoring 44. There's still lots of time for others to join you on the RegretExpress!
wolfking wrote:Hmmmm....Savage scoring a 73 at FB last year in round 18. Looks like an anomaly, but makes the Savage vs Avo debate more interesting.

Titans looked a lot better when he went to lock. Strong runner of the ball, made a few half breaks. That sort of role for 40-50 mins off the bench might be his best position.

I made some last minute changes to my trades, rolled the team back, ran out of time, and ended up with Cleary(c) and Hynes(vc)
Now I'll never catch up to DK and Mulvy
They gave him last weeks captain.Revraiser wrote:
This is where the game fails, if this happens u should get someone, anyone as captain. Like last week's captain, auto or the 4th highest scorer this week. Something.

Not sure either of them are great options, but:
Price: Savage cheaper. One point to him.
Break Even: Similar. Half a point each.
Job security: Both probably have to kill it to keep their position after a month vs CNK/Rapana or Dufty/Allan. Who's more likely to? I'd say Savage, but marginal. Half a point each.
Scoring potential: More attacking stats on offer for the Raiders than the Bulldogs. Point to Savage imo.
Positional utility: Depends on team makeup but HLF/CTR probably more useful than WFB. Averillo +1
Savage 3, Averillo 2 (4-1 if you need a WFB)

Beat the Sharks 34-18. Sharks had missed tackle fest no surprises SJ with game high 9. Will that happen against Roosters? Possible but unlikely
