As Elliot is now carrying a lowish BE and has more coin to make, I've gone the Penis > McInnes.
I don't need to carry an extra centre, but will miss the adolescent jokes.
    Stay strong Penis.

I traded Starling to Mahoney and maybe Critta to Savage IDK if he plays this week

Awesome to see NRLFF dominating this year, especially DK, Pookus and Mulvy. As always, the work MTB and Milchy do around here never gets enough credit - so a massive shout out to those boys too! Bring it home lads.

Brought up Eels v Dogs upcoming. Some food for thought - could be a nice springboard

    Last 3 average against Dogs:

    Moses - 71.3
    Mahoney - 58.6
    Gutherson - 64.6

DBrown's is only in the 30s for those wondering. But obviously in good form now also

I want to do my trade now but I can't really do it until after Origin because my replacement for Hastings is reliant on whether Cook or Cotter back up.

If one of them does back up, I'm going all in on Mulitalo as my 2nd CTR, or 3rd WFB if I can't get Ted back after Origin.

If neither of them back up (more likely), then I pretty much have to get Mahoney, which is fine but I really want Ronaldo since the Sharks draw is great for the rest of the year and they always go left.

You are right, MTB and Milch are worthy of all the upvotes!

Payten doesn't need Cotter or Nanai to back up. Would be surprised to see either named tomorrow. Or maybe extended bench at best.

Yeah I don't think Cotter does, it's more so Cook since Souths are shit at the moment, but I think Cook is 50/50 at best.

Assuming Scritta gets through Origin without injury, he's up again the Knights and the Warriors for the next two rounds. Has a high BE but damn, tempted to keep him in with those match ups!

Mulitalo got unfairly caught up in all the Talikai bashing, but has averaged 49.1 since round 4. With a 16 being the low point. Him and Walsh plus Suli, Manu , Edwards are going to be it for me in the backs. Can't chase all the guns from here on in.

Yeah, I've had a close eye on him since round 7 when I bought him in Supercoach, just wasn't sure how it'd translate to fantasy but he's involved enough to score even when his team isn't winning.

I'm considering getting him even if my hookers don't back up, since if I trade Hastings to him, I can then trade Billy Smith to Cheese with 1k spare - I wouldn't do that if I don't need a hooker, but if I do, I think it's a decent one, replacing a dead cheapie with at best 1 more game to play

Not a bad shout, but I think Munster's playing too well for Hughes to do that well this year. He's not bad, but Moses is only 40k more and Dylbags not much more than that, and both probably average 5-10 points more than Hughes.

Dylbags in particular has averaged 60 this year in games where he's played the full 80 at 5/8 (so not playing any centre), he's probably the best of the ~650-720k round 17 halves.

Cleary doesn’t look to have backed up after origin 1 last year. Tonned up in round 15 though.
Ponga did back today after origin 3 but looks like got injured after half an hour possibly

All of this obviously has no relevance to this year but that’s what happened

Panthers had the Friday game in round 14 last year, so no surprise Cleary didn't back up. They have the Sunday afternoon this time around.

I went and had a look for Ponga, and he failed an HIA in his backup game vs the Storm after game 3 last year.

Isn’t there the whole it’s easier to back up after a couple of days than later in the weekend? Don’t k is if that’s real but gets mentioned
